IT WAS HERE AT LAST - the much-awaited serenity of the company leisure trip; a seemingly perfect way to end an exceptionally tiresome week for yourself and your co-workers. Surrounded by hills full of lush-greenery and fresh air, you simply couldn't wait to blow off some steam - and for a whole weekend at that!

The sun had said its final good-bye for the day and now that night had finally fallen, you were all munching away on dinner.

Who knew your company could afford all this fancy shit? By the look of the hotel, you could only guess that a trip of this kind of opulence would cost nothing less than a small fortune - your room even had an outdoor bath for heaven's sake! Not that you didn't deserve it; you had all worked hard.

Now, you eyed the blond Uzumaki who was sitting next to you, his eyes practically glued to his plate. His cheeks reminded you that of a hamster as he continued to stuff his face. A faint chuckle slipped past your lips at the sight of him,

"Slow down, will you? The food's not going to run off anywhere, Naruto."

At the sound of your voice, Naruto looked up. With his mouth full, he tried to mumble out the words,

"Phut uph.", he swallowed hard before turning back towards you, "I'm practically starving."

Kiba's voice sounded from Naruto's other side as he leaned in towards you both,

"We didn't do anything the whole day... How can you be so hungry from doing nothing?"

At the Inuzuka's words, you could see Naruto's cheeks turn bright pink. He rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. Stiffling a giggle behind your palm at the sight of the sudden flustered expression on his face, he glared at you at the sound - the clear blue in his eyes flashing threateningly.

The Uzumaki had indeed spent the last few hours fucking you mercilessly. His whole hotel room still smelled like you. Naruto wouldn't have had it any other way, but of course he couldn't say that to Kiba.

"I don't know, perhaps I just have a big... Appetite. Yeah.", he sighed thoughtfully before taking another bite.

"You're going to get fat if you eat this much and not burn it away.", Kiba teased, his teeth sinking into the tip of his tongue.

"Did someone mention the f-word?", Chōji interjected from the other side of the table then, his eyes narrowed at Kiba. The brunet was quick to raise his hands in defense, his whole strong-headed demeanor faltering in an instant,

"N-No, Chōji! I meant Naruto, not you! I would never-"

As Kiba had gotten busy defending his case to the Akimichi, Naruto's own reply was quiet, making you muse,

"Oh, I'll burn it away alright..."

"Really? In what way, Naruto?", you spoke lightly, your voice hushed against his ear. He eyed you from the corner of his eye and you could see the light twitch of his lips as he fought the smile that was forcing itself on his sharp features.

He was just about to reply, when;

"Hey, Naruto-kun, y/n! I-I was wondering if I could ask you a question?"

Both yourself and the Uzumaki turned to look at the person that had spoken the words shakily;

Hinata Hyūga.

You smiled, your teeth flashing as you grinned warmly at the girl and Naruto felt his heart race at the sight. God, he loved it when you smiled like that. It was as bright as the sun itself.
