Jo-li POV 3 months passed like a wave. Being with him was the best thing that could have ever happened to me... Also i knew it was time, IT WAS TIME FOR MY DEBUT After days of hard work, I was finally debuting along with So-ra on my side. Just us two, a duo, a 2 people band. I couldn't express my happiness. With Beomgyu by my side and So-ra as my career partner, this was the best gift I could ever receive!
Our first song 'Forever' was released and it hit 1 crore views on the first day itself. I couldn't be any happier. My dream finally came true. A kpop idol, with her best friend who was her career partner and her idol Choi Beomgyu, as her boyfriend. My father would've been so proud to see his little daughter finally achieving everything she wanted.
*time skip to award show of Korea's Pop* It had been a month since my debut. We called ourselves "The Duels". Our music video had hit 10 crore views by now and it was time for Korea's Pop award show. The first official award show which i was about to attend.
Things with Beomgyu were awesome, but no one knew about our relationship except So-ra. Not even Taehyun and other Txt members knew about it. 4 months, it had been 4 months and Beomgyu made me happier every single day.
All the Kpop bands were there at the awards function. So-ra and I were sitting at our respective places together. Even though there were so many flash lights at the venue, I could spot Beomgyu sitting with his bandmates. He spotted me too and we shared an eye contact for a minute but it broke when the host said,
"The Rookie Of The Year award goes to the one and only Tomorrow X Together!!"
I saw Soobin and Yeonjun jump, as if they were at the top of the world. Well, they were. My hands couldn't clap any louder and so was So-ra's. They went up to the stage to receive the award.
Beomgyu POV My eye contact with Jo-li broke when the show host said "The Rookie Of The Year award goes to the one and only Tomorrow X Together!!" I couldn't believe it. We actually won the ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AWARD
Yeonjun and Soobin jumped with joy. All the 5 of us hugged. I couldn't ask for more. We went up to the stage to take the award and Soobin started giving his speech

"All our hard work, everything has paid off, now that we received this award bla bla bla blahhhh"
Soobin gave his speech, then Yeonjun started but my eyes were fixed on her. She looked so happy, as if she had one the award. It was the best view in the world.
"Beomgyu, psst, stop zoning out and give your speech", Taehyun whispered. "Oh right"
"This is practically unbelievable. I never thought we'd win this award but it's all thanks to our fans, my mates, everyone I know and everyone who supported us. I couldn't ask for more." I paused here thinking, should I tell the world? Is it time for the whole world to know that I LOVE PARK JO-LI AND SHE'S MINE? Yes, it was time
"Also i have an announcement to make, which not even my bandmates know"
There was a sudden silence. All eyes, all camera's on me. But my eyes were still fixed on her. She could make it out that I was about to tell the whole world about our relationship. She could make it out through my eyes.
"I am in a relationship"
"WWWHHHAAATTT", mostly everyone at the function shouted. My 4 best friends were looking at me in shock.
"I am in a relationship, with Park Jo-li, one of the members of the new band 'The Duels'"
There was silence for a second or two when I started to hear wild claps across the venue. Hootings and claps were so loud that it made me smile big. I ran down the stage to her. The spotlight was on me. The mic in my hand. I stood in front of her.
"I love you Park Jo-li" "I love you too Choi Beomgyu", she said. She said it. I couldn't resist it anymore. I leaned in for a kiss. It was the most perfect kiss I ever had. Rest of the members went back to their seats and so did i. Everyone sitting near me gave me their blessings.
"Why didn't any of us know about it Beomgyu?" Yeonjun said. "Yes Choi Beomgyu, you have a lot of explaining to do once this show is over", Kai said while laughing.
I knew they were happy for me.
Jo-li POV "And the award for the best song of the year goes to 'Forever' by 'The Duels'"
Did I hear it right? Did So-ra and I just win the BEST SONG OF THE YEAR?! THIS WAS THE FREAKIN BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.
We went to receive our award and gave our speeches and I added something to mine.
"And I would also like to thank him, Choi Beomgyu, my boyfriend for all his support and love. Please give us your blessings"
Everyone clapped, my eyes met with his. The happiness we shared through our eyes was indescribable.
*time skip to the end of the show* Beomgyu POV After the show ended, Taehyun, Yeonjun, Soobin, Kai and me asked So-ra and Jo-li to join us at the after party. All of us were there. My hand in hers, it was the best feeling. We were having drinks just when I heard a very familiar voice....
"How could you do this to me Gyu..?"
