The aroma of freshly-brewed coffee lingered in the thin air. It was a beautiful day.
Y/N POV : ---------------
I sat down at the corner of the table as Dazai ordered macarons and coffee for the both of us. I was about to pay for the both of us but he stopped me and winked. My first smile appeared on my face as I turned red. While waiting for our orders, Dazai was staring at me the whole time. My heart nearly exploded out of my chest. Then, Dazai held my hand and said calmly, " Don't be shy, [Y/N]. I will protect you. " I looked back at him and giggled. After a good ten minutes, the food finally arrived. As we sipped on our coffee, we laughed and talked together. It was one of the happiest days of my life, being able to feel happiness and laughter.
Dazai POV : -----------------
She is so adorable, her chocolate brown hair, just like mine. We are made for each other! Where should we go after this break? Maybe Mori would give us some missions later.
Y/N POV : --------------
After we finished our meals, we went back to the palace. " Well... It's only her first day here. Guess what? There won't be any missions for the both of you today. Dazai, you will guide her on what to do. I'm kinda busy right now, thanks! " Mori said. Dazai yipped happily and twirled around before bringing me to his office. His office was neat and tidy, it felt relaxing in there. The cold air... The smell of him... It was amazing.
He sat down on his armchair and pulled closer to me, who was seating on a couch, gazing at some artworks on the wall.
Dazai POV : -----------------
As I drew closer and closer to her, I stared quietly at her flawless face. I gently grabbed her chin to get her to look in my direction. Subsequently, she turned around and faced me. I slowly leaned closer and closer to her. Boop. She decided to make contact with me first? How amazing! I thought. We continued kissing for a good three minutes before breaking it to catch some air again. " I never know you would do that. That was unexpected-" I said while I licked my upper lip.
Y/N POV : -------------- I did not just- What did I just do- I questioned myself as I wheezed at Dazai's confused look. He was so adorable. I went up to him and gave him a tight hug, going into his jacket and into his torso. It was warmer than I thought. He slowly placed his hands on my back, together with the other hand running through my silky hair. It felt so cozy.
