We head to the hospital where our appointment is.
"Hello Dixie and Griffin, I'm Dr Smith. I heard you are here about a pregnancy test?" Dr Smith says as she looks down at her check board.
"Yes, I took one and it was positive" I tell her.
"Ok, well we have various ways of testing, but the most accurate method is you urinating in this cup and taking another test that is higher quality" she say.
"Ok"
I take the cup and smile at Griffin as I walk out, he smiles back at me.
When I'm finished I walk back to Dr Smith's office.
"Ok, so I'm just going to put this test in and the results will come out soon. If it is blue than you are indeed pregnant but if it is pink you are not" sje tells us.
Griffin grabs my hand and we wait.
Dr Smith pulls the test to show us.
Blue.
"Congratulations!" She says.
I smile and look at Griffin, but he is already smiling at me.
He leans over and kisses my cheek.
The doctor tells us our choices and we decide we are going to keep the baby.
Even though we haven't been together long, we can't kill an innocent baby.
We leave the hospital smiling, on the drive back to Griffins house we talk about the baby.
