Chapter 5: More investigating/The Faux Ghost

Back at the Mystery Inc. HQ, they al went inside after having just escaped the Black Knight Ghost narrowly.

"I'm gonna compare the glow of those footprints to the Pterodactyl scale." Blake comments, heading to the lab

"And we'll check out Wickles' book." Neptune responds as him and Pyrrha go to grab a laptop

"Dude, The Faux Ghost is an awesome clue. But what do we do with it?" Jaune asks his canine pal

"Rlet's solve the mystery." Scooby answers

"If we solve the mystery by ourselves, it would certainly prove to the gang that we belong." Jaune responds "We need to get down there, find Old Man Wickles, and see what he knows. But first, let's give the gang the old slipperooney"

The two walk into the kitchen, Jaune opens the fridge, grabs the whipped cream, and puts a lot of it into Scooby's mouth

In the main area, Pyrrha and Neptune were looking through the monster book as Jaune comes out of the kitchen and they look at him

"Hey, guys..Scooby's feeling kinda like he's got rabies..." Jaune said pulling Scooby into the area with whipped cream around his mouth although the three thought it was part of the fact Jaune supposedly said he had rabies

Scooby moans as if he's hurt.

"We're just gonna go outside to get some fresh air..." Jaune stated

The two walked off, Pyrrha and Neptune looking at each other with an eyebrow raised. Meanwhile, in the lab, Blake found the results she needed. Both the footprints and the scale copntained a chemical known as Randomonium.

"Jinkies." Blake comments

Blake stood up and ran out to the main area where Pyrrha and Neptune were.

"What's up, Blakes?" Neptune asks

"The Pterodactyl scale, it contains Randomonium." Blake explained, grabbing the book from Neptune and flipping through it. "Which this book says is the critical ingredient needed to make monsters."

"Doesn't Randomonium glow like those footprints we found in Wickles' mansion?" Pyrrha comments

"If we can prove Wickles is behind this, this mystery goes down like a dot-com adn Coolsville digs us again!" Neptune states

"But where would he get Randomonium?" Pyrrha asks

"Randomonium is the bi-product of certain silver mines." Blake answers

Neptune thought before commenting, "Like the abandoned mining town in Old Coolsville!"

Blake nods and says, "We better get to that mining town and see what's-"

Blake then dropped to the floor, completely confusing Neptune and Pyrrha. Pyrrha and Neptune looked back at the door and saw Sage standing there as Velma had rolled completely over the couch. Blake poked her head up, her glasses crooked a little.

"Get rid of him!!!!" Blake comments before ducking behind the couch and crawling off

Pyrrha rolled her eyes before telling Neptune, "Keep him busy."

Pyrrha followed Blake into the lab.

"What are you doing???" Pyrrha comments

"He wants to ask me on a date." Blake answers

"It's okay to be scared about that." Pyrrha responds

"I am NOT scared! I've fought werewolves and ghosts and in the end,, I know we usually unmask them and they're just an old little scared man inside!" Blake responds
