The shocked silence was thick and suffocating through the air. Penny took a second to straighten out her thoughts, mentally judging the strange girl. "Are you psycho? Why would you take a life just because you're bored? You're just as bad as the brain eaters out there!"

Sani sighed before laughing as if pennys response amused her. she always saw people who didn't understand as less. "Too many questions! First, i just met you, no need to use romantic terms yet. Second, it's so thrilling! Like a lil adrenaline rush! And, finally, they're not brain eaters. they actually eat all parts of a person. they just prefer the brain." she finished her small rant unfazed and surprisingly not out of breath.

Penny, on the other hand, was getting frustrated by the others mindset. Then again, crazy and anger issues don't usually mix. "Let's break this down. First, what do mean as in romantic terms. i called you psycho."

Sani looked at penny as if she was the crazy one. "Are you the dumb one now? Of course it's romantic! i remember my mom used to call my dad that all~ the time. My mom would tell me to go to my room because she needed to talk to my dad. then i'd hear them calling eachother crazy, insane, dead beat, and so many more. God, they were so in love." She said in an awestruck tone and her eyes were glazed over at the image of her ever being in love like them.

Penny then questioned her mental stability. For the fiftieth time within meeting her. "That's a whole different load we'll unpack another time. Second, if you ever try to attack me for an adrenaline rush, Bernie might get angry. And it'd be hard for me to stop him from attacking you if he's angry." She knew this persuasion would work. Was it affective? yes. Was it manipulative? yes, but her morals were the least of her concerns at the moment.

Sani gulped thickly staring at the dog that loomed menacingly in the corner. before nodding quickly with eyes as big as the full moon. The dog growled a little for good measure causing sani to flinch. "I said okay! calm him down!" she yelled panickedly.

Penny sighed and waved her hand before saying a command in german causing the dog to immediately quiet down and lay down to not seem so big. "We've both had a long day. go to bed. we'll figure out what to do about you in the morning. Remember, don't try anything."

Sani nodded before laying back down on the pile of tattered clothes, watching as penny walked over into the dark corner before laying down, using her dog as support. Sani didn't plan to sleep, her mind never quieted down long enough to let her. so she just stared blankly at the ceiling, scared to move or speak because of the large silhouette and glowing eyes in the corner.

Of course, who'd really expect her to be quiet? Sani quickly sat up, her black hair blocking her eyes from being messy as she stared at penny. when penny didn't give her attention she decided to demand it. "Penny! Pennnyyyy! Penny penny penny!" She whisper yelled for a while before the read head shot a glare at her and responded with a harsh. "What!"

Sani looked around anxiously, but there was no backing out now  she needed to say what had been on her mind ever since she met penny. It could ruin their fresh and short friendship, but at least she'd know the other's feeling. "Do you think that if we still had social media i'd be cancelled on twitter for being dogphobic?"

Penny let out a loud, irritated groan before flopping back to laying down and throwing a pillow at sani as a not so subtle way of telling her to shut up. She listened and went back to thinking. Penny slept through the night, but sani couldn't stop worrying with thoughts of, Am i problematic? would twitter approve? twitter would probably not approve.
