Chloe POV

As the plane landed we went towards the airport. It was a bit bigger but that wasn't the reason for my joy. I could finally walk and stretch my legs for a bit after 11 hours of sitting.

Ben was walking beside me as we headed towards the luggage pick up zone. We moved fast to not stop other people on their way.

"So you're staying at this Luxe City Center Hotel?" I ask as we were still walking.

"Yep, that was the most optimal variant. Center of the city." I just hum and we come to a stop as we approach the location where the luggage gets delivered.

As I try to spot my suitcase Ben already approaches me with his. Looking out for mine I spot the one and move towards it. Ben moves alongside and as I approach he picks it up for me and places it on the floor.

Thanking him we make our way through other zones and outside of the airport. We are both living in the same hotel so we decided to order a taxi and go there.

As Ben was getting us an Uber, I got a phone call from Katherine.

"Yes?"

"Hi, Chlo. Where are you?"

"Hi, I'm at the main exit, Ben is getting us a taxi, we'll be heading to the hotel."

At the mention of his name Ben looked up at me and raised his eyebrows. I just wave my hand a bit and continue to talk.

"Alright, just wanted to make sure you're fine."

"That's rather sweet, thanks. How are you guys?"

"Yoohoo, it's Los Angeles BABY!" I hear a faint voice of Bonnie somewhere near Katherine screaming.

"Ok, is Bonnie drunk already?"

"Nope, not yet at least. We are great by the way." Amusement laced Katherine's voice as she talked.

"Well, I'm glad." Ben motioned for me that the taxi had come so I bid Katherine goodbye and hung up.

"Are they alright?" He asks as we start making our way towards the car that has parked a few feet away.

"Yep, Bonnie acts like she's drunk, though." I shrug and he chuckles a bit. Every time I forget that he knows them because of his past relationship with Michelle. And he probably, willingly or not, hung out with them.

"Here, let me help." He takes my suitcase as we approach the car and takes it to put it in the trunk. I climb inside the car in the backseat and towards the furthest window to make space for Ben.
