Remy POV

"Okay I appreciate the help but maldita sea, dame un segundo (god damn give me a second)." I chime as Nadia starts tapping her foot.

"I know but you have an hour left but you were too busy llenando tu cara (stuffing your face) with gummy bears to give me two hours instead of one." Nadia whines. "If you don't hurry up I'm gonna go get my chancleta."

"I'm almost done. Why don't you go get my flat iron prepared for when I get out of the bathroom."

"Fine."

I sigh. In all honesty I'm kinda scared. I've never been on a blind date. I've only been on one date with my ex before I realized that she wanted one thing and then she ran. She was the only one I was ever with. I'm that friend. I know all about relationships but I've never been in one. I'm 32 and I've only been in bed with one person. It's intimidating to some and pathetic to others.

But if they only care about the fact I'm not good in bed then maybe it's just not even worth trying.

I hurried up before Nadia barges in. I wash my hands and see the cute outfit she helped me pick out. Apparently where we are going involves a very fancy dress code. The suit is really cute.

Well it's less of a dress and more of a skirt, a crop top, and a blazer. But the top of the top has a see through design and so does the bottom of the skirt. I thought it was super cute because it really captures all of my three looks. Chic, serious, and comfortable.

"Finally. I was afraid you had fallen in."

"Haha," I say while rolling my eyes.

"Let's wait until after we do your makeup and hair to get on your suit. Just in case any of the makeup or heat protectant gets on you." She continues after i nod in agreement. "Okay let's straighten your hair. I love your curls but I have an idea."

I've learned that trusting Nadia when it comes to makeup and hair is a smart idea. She could do it professionally but then again being a high school guidance counselor is her dream. For some reason I'll never understand.

After straightening my hair, she moved onto my makeup. She insisted I not face the mirror until everything is put together and all details have been added. She loves the element of surprise and I have yet to be off put from a surprise from Nadia. I swear she's a psychic.

After I have slipped on the top and shorts, she hands my my favorite silver hoops, my snake ring, and my charm bracelet. She then hands me my blazer. She hands me my black mini purse just big enough for my phone, wallet, and chap stick.

"Alright you ready to see my masterpiece?" she practically sings.

"Ay dios mio (oh lord) stop with the suspense and let me see."

She spins me around. I don't think she could have prepared me for how talented she is. I couldn't have done it better myself. The makeup is very neutral, just how I prefer. The suit fits even better than I remember. My straightened hair falls to my lower back but she part it to where one side of my hair in front while the rest is behind my shoulder. The silver jewelry really makes the black pop and the see through parts seem to be glowing just like my chest.

"One last touch," she says before spraying me with my cologne I made. Well technically I didn't make it but I did mix together a sweet smelling body glitter with my favorite cologne. It's the one my best friend wore too much of in high school.

I smile at my best friend before tackling her in a hug. "Nadia thank you so much!"

She laughs as she squeezes me back. "Of course. I just want you to know I will be waiting for you when you get home to dish. Good or bad. Have fun okay? And don't be afraid to be yourself. Because i think that's the best part about you."

Yeah. I have the best friend in the world. "I'll tell you everything. But I have to go before I'm late. Te quiero (I love you) Dee."

"Love you too Rem."

Lizzie POV

I'm not exactly confident about this date. I mean I don't even know her name. How could we possibly find anything to talk about. I don't talk about work when on dates and I have my own show in the filming process. My face has been all over and besides I've been in the Marvel movies since 2015. I don't wanna ruin it once she recognizes me.

Scarlet interrupts my wallowing. "Liz I can see the conflict in your eyes." She continues when I remain silent. "Put me in your situation and you in mine. If I had been set up with Evan and you were trying to convince me to what would you say?"

I answer automatically. "I would tell you how you deserve love and that to find it you have to put yourself out there and try. If they don't see the catch you are, they don't deserve you. It doesn't matter what anyone thinks except you and him."

Scar gives me an 'I told you so' look. Ami smiles at me with an amused look.

"Oh," I mutter.

"You're not any different than I am. Actresses get married and have lives. My daughter came into this world because I put my heart on the line. It's scary, but all of the rewards are totally worth it. A year ago, if you had told me I was getting married in less than two years, I would've had you admitted. It changes your world. So are you ready?"

I furrow my eyebrows. "Ready for what?"

"To change your world?" Ami asks.

I nod.

"First step, let's get you outta your jeans because it's too casual for a first date," states Scarlet.

After thirty minutes of raiding my closet, we finally decided on a floor length light pink dress. It has little 3D butterflies and it is really shiny. It looks so good and it's so swirly at the bottom. I take a single step swish. I reach for my drink swish. It gives off the vibe as if it's a pink water fall.

"Okay makeup time." Nat helps me with everything until it was time for the eyeliner.

I decide to pin up my hair and tie it up in a bun with the excess. I leave a couple hairs down for a different effect. The waviness of my hair left over from yesterdays shoot makes my hair look really good. I put in some silver shiny stud earrings and some white heels. After I'm happy with all of the little details I turn to Ami and Scarlet. "What do we think? Huh?"

"If I weren't straight I would totally date you," says Scar.

"I think that if you were to look like this all the time you would never have to pay for you're coffee ever again." I smile at the compliment.

Ami has a semi-severe case of asperger syndrome, so she has a little trouble with complimenting people so it means a lot to have her come up with a compliment on her own. "Thanks Ami. I think I should head out before I am late." I grab my hand back that I save for special occasions and hug my friends goodbye. "I'll tell you everything when I get back."

"Bye girly!"

"Bye Liz."

I only slightly hesitated at the door. I knew for a fact that my friends would always be there for me and I also know that if everything goes well today everything could be different. So I raise my head high, take a deep, and head straight towards the unknown

A/N: I had a lot of fun finding outfits and thing for these girls to accessorize with. I tried to find dresses the face claims actually wore but I tweaked it a little to fit my characters and they're personalities. I will be updating very soon. probably later tonight or early tomorrow morning. Much love, Sarri
