Jay's P.O.V.

I stood there for a few minutes waiting for a response. "Yeah it's me." she says with a hoarse and shaky voice. I walk towards her and give her a hug. "I missed you so much." I tell her knowing deep down inside I still have feelings for her. Feelings that never went away. "I missed you so much." She says with her voice breaking. She pulls out of the hug and looks at me. I could tell she was crying. "What's wrong?" I asked her concerned. "I just missed you, I thought about you every second I was gone." She says with tears slowly falling down her face. "I thought about you too." I say wiping the tears from her face. She smiles and leans in to kiss me.

The clock by the side bed reads midnight and Jay still wasn't home yet. I called him but it went straight to his voicemail box.  I wait a little bit longer before calling his phone again but this time leaving a message. "Jay I don't know where you are but it's midnight and you have been gone for 4 hours now and I'm starting to get worried. Please call me back when you get this. I love you." After hanging up from the voice message I go to the kitchen and make coffee. Looking though pictures of me and him  on my phone I knew wanting to marry him was good and that we could focus on our future even more, although we only talked about it once. I walk towards the couch and lay down while slowly falling asleep.

Erin's P.O.V

When I got back to Chicago I went to the old abandoned building across from my old apartment and close by my favorite restaurant and Jay's old apartment. When I got there I called the number I have memorized  by heart. When he gets there I tell him my feelings. He is just as caring as he always has been. I leaned in to kiss him after words at first he hesitates for a few seconds but then kisses me back. "Where are you staying?" he asks. "I was thinking of renting out my old apartment." I say. He thinks for a minute but then speaks. "You can come stay with me there is an extra room." He tells me with a smile on his face. "You sure I don't want to get in your way or anything." I say. "You won't get in the way. it'll be great having you stay with me." I smile and agree to his offer. "I only have a few bags not that much only clothes and pictures." I look at him. "Pictures of us, I always kept them as memories of you." He smiles. "Well I kept the pictures of us too." "I can remember where each one was taken." I say remembering the memories of the pictures." "I remember them too we can look at some in the morning." He tells me while leading me to the car and opening the passenger side door. A few minutes later he gets in the car. "Your bags are in the backseat I'll get them when we get to my house." I laugh. "Your forgetting one thing Halstead." He laughs and caches on to what I'm saying. "Well it is midnight and you have to be tired but next time we go somewhere the keys and drivers side is all yours." "Your right about me being tired." I say while yawning. He smiles and holds my hand. "I've missed you always telling me I can't drive." "Well get used to it. I'm going to talk to Hank tomorrow about me coming back to intelligence."  "I would love for that to happen." He says while driving to his apartment.
