After Void 2

Chapter 10

When Tracy, Hayden, Ryan and Corey get back we all sit around and talk for a while.

"Bwth you were in school today?" Theo asks.

"For afew minutes. I got fed up of it!" I say and look up from the ground at Corey.

"Nothing new about that i suppose!" Theo chuckles. I looks back down at my feet and fiddle with my fingers.

"Whats wrong with you?" Ryan asks.

"Nothing kid! Piss off!" I grunt. I stand to my feet and grab my sleeping bag. I lift it away from everyone else.

"Im not a kid!" Ryan says.

"Two years younger than me! Piss off!" I growl and plop back down on my sleeping bag.

"Whats her problem?" Tracy whispers.

"I can fucking hear you!" I shout.

"Calm down!" Tracy sighs.

"Fuck you! Fuck all of you!" I stand to my feet,grab my bag and climb out of the tunnel. I breath in the cool air around me.

"You need to calm down Beth! Get a grip!" I say to myself. If im being honest i dont know where im going. I just cant stay in that tunnel. Its making me go crazy. Maybe i am just crazy? Who knows? I walk for what seems like hours with no idea where im going.

When i start to hear the sound of birds chirping i know its time to get back home... or to Dereks... well i dont know to where exactly but i have to go back. The sun starts to rise and it truly is a beautiful thing. I used to watch the sunrise with my cousin when we visited him in Mexico.

Of course me and Scott dont go to Mexico anymore because of the hunters that want our heads on a spike. When the sun is up fully i reach the school. I walk in and look around. People are staring at me. I slowly walk further into the school but everyones eyes are on me. I walk up to Theo and the pack.

"Whats going on?" I ask.

"Get back you monster!" Tracy screaches. I take a step back.

"What- What- Whats going on?" I look around.

"We know what you are!" Ryan shouts. My heart rate is rising.

"T- Theo?" I look at my best friend.

"Get away from my friends! I wont let you hurt them!" Theo shouts and looks me dead in the eye. I look around and everyone is staring.

"Corey?" I say with pleading eyes. He looks at Theo and back down at his feet.

"Get out of here or we will make you! No one want s a monster in the school!" Corey says. I bite down on my tongue and give everyone an emotionless look. I nod my head, shove my hands in my pockets and walk out of the school.

I stay biting my toung until i get far enough from the school so no human can hear. I let out a howl of pain, of betrayal, of sadness and it is a terrible sound. I hit myself in the head repeatedly and growl. I kick at the leaves on the ground and stomp my feet. Why did they do that? Why would they betray me like that?

"Fuck!" I scream so loud my lungs hurt. I finally collapse to the ground in tears and i cover my eyes. They just ruined me! I cant go back to that school! Im going to have to live on the run!

"I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!" I growl at myself.

"You ruined everything! You are alone again!" I sob. For the first time since Void died i really am alone. The dread doctors are nolonger after me and my friends... former friends turned against me.
