Just days after The Beholder's departure things started to get better for the two. They made it to a small village deep in the forest, there they met March's parents who took the two in treating them as if they were her own.
Fushi's thirst for knowledge started to expand as well as his feelings for the girl. He spent every waking hour he had with her; sharing as much as he can with what little vocabulary he knew. The girl soon picked up on the words. And although her pronunciation needed work she was adamant to speak.
In her eyes Fushi was amazing, not only could he change forms, he took care of her, he protected her and most importantly he stayed with her. It was more than she could ever ask for, these new experiences bought a warm feeling to her chest a feeling that grew each time her E/C eyes met his yellowish-green ones.
