Death.

The last cycle of life, the end of the beginning and the beginning to an end. It evokes many feelings, sadness, pity, anger, and more.

It's how 'Joaan' should've felt when he saw the boy lying limp on the cot. But as per usual he was indifferent. In some way he did feel sad, not that boy died but that he was alone. He's been alone for many years sure but after feeling what it's like to have company he never wanted that feeling to go away.

Where a white wolf once stood, now stood a replica of the now-deceased boy. Pale white hair, small pink lips, a slender body covered with tarps and cloth, and a rope tied around his wrist. The only thing that stood out differently was the magnificent yellowish-green eyes.

Once again he transformed, yet this time he has no direction to head towards. At this point, the last words of the boy rang through his head.

"Remember me Joaan. Remember."

He knew exactly where he should go. He will move in the direction the boy did, he'll remember him.

And so he left. Nothing in hand trekking through a monstrous blizzard.

At the time he had no destination in mind, he walked the same path the nameless boy did, unsure of what is expected from him.

Days passed as he finally made it to the mountains, he did various times while trekking the terrain, and each time he came back alive. He finally made it out of the rocky terrain and stood above a cliff, he saw lush vegetation, tall trees the blue sky, and once again felt the sun.

Astonishment shone on his face it was beautiful.

Gazing upon the view he failed to notice the creature in front of him.

The creature lunged for him immediately sharp teeth aiming for his head.

By the time he came to, the creature was long gone and he was now standing on moss.

Like the many other times, he died and came back he continued on his journey.

As darkness, presumed the night sky he grew restless.

His skin pricked and chills shuddered through him, causing him to stand still. He observed his surroundings looking left and then right.

Forward and then backward.

Suddenly he felt a tug. Something was pulling him upwards it wasn't seen but he could feel an invisible string pulling.

"Hello, Fushi."
