"Who was on the phone?" James asked, looking up at Beau.
"Jarred. He said he has an assignment for us." Beau sat back in his chair across from me.
I continued to listen to their conversation, yet pretend I wasn't.

"There is a bank up in Washington and Jarred heard that they are close to shutting down. Employees are leaving, customers are transferring. It'll be a quick and small stop." Beau explained, pulling up the bank information and sliding his phone in the table.

"Sorry to interrupt, but how does this have to do with me?" I squirmed in my seat, nervously.
"We need an innocent face for traveling. So no one will question us." Jai explained.
"I'm not robbing a bank." I scoffed.

"Then we'll have to kill you." Daniel laughed. "We can shoot you," Jai started, I felt my arms grip tightly on the handles of the chair. "Or we can stab you and let you bleed to death." Jai shrugged.
I swallowed a hard lump stuck in my throat. "Or lock you in a room and slowly let you go insane." He stared at me.
I took a big breathe and my voice got shaky. "P-please.-" "that will be easiest, to just shoot her." Beau cut me off. I looked over at him sharply. I opened my mouth to say something through my tears. "Ya, let's go ahead and get it over with." Daniel suggested.
"No!" I screamed. I shot up and ran for the doors. I struggled with the handle, it was locked.

"Please, please!" I cried. The boys were laughing slightly.

"Enough!" Luke shouted, standing. The room fell silent as Luke made his way over to me.
"I'll handle this." He stated and grabbed my arm.

I began flailing and screaming, pleading for him to let me go.
__________

He tossed me back into the room I had slept in.
He followed me inside and locked the door behind him.
I continued to plead and cry, as Luke got closer.

I let out a large cry when Luke flung his arms around me. I struggled slightly, wiggling in his grip.

He didn't let go.

I slowly stopped screaming.

He's not trying to hurt me.

This is a hug.

He quietly shushed me, resting his chin on top of my head.
I sniffed, and wrapped my arms around his lower torso.
"I won't let anyone hurt you." He whispered.

At this moment, I didn't care that I was kidnapped.
I didn't care that Luke is a criminal.

At this moment, all I could think about were Luke's words,

"I won't let anyone hurt you."
