The entire ride home, Luke suddenly started acting strange. After the kiss, everything was normal and it's as if he hadn't though about it until now.
We had been driving for an agonizingly long time, and my legs couldn't even bare it anymore.
We pull into the familiar passage of the forest, and I finally decide to speak.
"Luke?"
"Yeah."
"Why are you acting all weird?"
"I was going to ask you the same thing," he chuckles and finally looks over to me.
I blankly stare at him. I want a real answer, so I raise my eyebrows suggestively.
He clears his throat and adjusts in his seat.
"Was it the kiss?" I ask quietly.
His mouth opens and closes, unaware of what to say. I feel my eyes sting with tears, and quickly switch my head to look out the window.
I see the house up ahead, and instantly sit up.
Luke starts to talk, but I can only keep my focus on the house. My legs get tingly just thinking about stretching again.
"It's just-" Luke starts. The car comes to a halt and he turns to me, but I'm already diving out of the door. In my socks, I run to the front door.
Luckily, it's unlocked. The other boys must be inside. I run through the small corridor into the larger living room, where James and Jai are on the couch. When they see me, they stand. I stop when I remember the last time I saw them was when they were discussing my death. "Is it true?" Jai asks. "You're staying?" James finishes. I nod, Luke and I had talked about it all night at the hotel.
"So you must really like Luke, huh?" James grins. I can't help but smile back, and slightly blush.

Seeing as the boys somewhat trusted me now, they allowed me to give myself a tour of the house. I had explored multiple corridors, and some I repeated because I got lost.

Beau's room was towards the back of the house, down a dark corridor. It consisted of multiple guitars and papers scattered around. I then walked down two other corridors, and only found a conference room and a recording studio type deal.
Down the next hallway, was James's, Jai's, and Daniel's rooms. They were all the same; a mess. I caught Daniel in his room doing some sit-ups, but he had his headphones in and didn't see me. I also caught Jai, on his way out and we said a quick, "see ya later."
Corridor after corridor, and passing through the kitchen and then the living room I finally made it to the stairs that lead up to Luke's room. Thinking about climbing in bed with him, and snuggling into his warm chest makes me shudder and I can't restrain myself from climbing up the stairs. I walk quietly down the corridor, overlooking the living room when I finally stop in front of his door.
I'm about to turn the handle when someone speaks from inside.
"But Luke," a female voice growls. There's a short pause before she speaks again, "I love you." Her words take a blow at my heart and I quickly barge in. Luke and some brunette are mouth on mouth, and my breath hitches. They pull apart, and look at me. The girl has no emotion, but Luke's face says it all. "Hey Danny." His face blushes scarlet. I give a shaky nod and quickly run back out, as fast as I ran in.
