After the kiss, Luke and I acted as if it was totally normal. We smiled at each other a lot, and headed back up to our room after swimming and splashing water on each other.
We both are startled a little, when Lukes phone starts buzzing.
"Yeah?" Luke asked,
There's a pause, and Lukes face slowly upturns to a smile.
He hangs up, "we're going home!" He grins.
I smile widely, and run clashing into him. His words play in my head, over and over. "We're going home"
No. I'm going back to the place I'm being held hostage. Or is it my home?
I pull back from his grip, "home?" I question.
"do you want to call it that?" he swallows hard.
Yes! I smile and nod and grip around his neck again.
We're going home.
