Jungkook's POV~

The bright morning light shined through the large window of the kitchen, illuminating everything within. Jin hyung was already there finishing the remaining tasks of preparing breakfast while the smell of bacon wafted into my nose as I made my way down the steps. The past couple days have been awkward. Everyone's been walking on eggshells since Yoongi hyung confessed what exactly happened to Yuni. Thinking of it still pisses me off, but I don't think I'm mad at him anymore. No, I understand his reasoning but I still blame myself for not knowing or fighting more when we had to say goodbye.

Just as I reached the table full of the tasty morsels, the loud thumps of thundering feet hitting the steps rang through the cottage. My hyungs raced for their places, trying to reach the food before each other. Yoongi hyung slowly brings up the rear, as I start yelling at these fools. Jin hyung joined in with "Don't swallow that whole! Chew! Leave some for the rest of us, you pigs!"

I shook my head while smiling and sat down. After I was able to get some of the food, everyone slowed their antics and started some light conversation. I didn't join in, instead, I was perfectly content in taking in the glorious taste of Jin hyung's cooking. A little later, everyone except myself were talking about her, which brought me out of my thoughts.

"Remember those mornings when we would have breakfast at Dumpling's? She would come down the stairs with her hair everywhere-" Taehyung-shi added with a small smile, while his eyes sparkled from the thought.

"Or how her smile grew bigger when she saw us, even though she just woke up," Hobi hyung joined him with a similar look on his face.

The room got quiet for a moment until Jin hyung spoke just above a whisper, "I miss her..."

"I do too," said Yoongi hyung. We again fell silent and reflected on the past with mutual understanding of each other. We all miss her. I remember when we had to say goodbye... I wasn't given a reason as to why we had to leave, but I knew that we would not see Dumpling for quite a while. The day before we left, all of us brothers traveled to Dumpling's home. We were greeted with the usual hugs and laughter from Auntie and her daughter.

That day we had a grand picnic in the garden. And as the hours passed, the sadness grew and created an acidic taste in the air. My hyungs gave each other knowing glances, motioning that it was time. Jin-shi was the first to grab Dumpling's attention, as he rose from his seat. Everyone followed suit, each one giving hugs and a few words, both of farewell and encouragement.

Tears were everywhere on her face as she reached to hold onto something, that something being my hand. "No..." Dumpling murmured but grew louder, "Why must you go? Why can't I come with you?" We all looked down, unable to meet her eyes.

Jimin broke the silence and my trance by his next comment, "Hey, it's not like she is dead! We can meet with her."

My eyes widened. "No!" I don't understand where my sudden outburst came from, but something within me didn't like the thought.

"What's the matter? Did I say something wrong or are you trying to hide her away from us? Oh come on Kookie! We want to see her too!" Jimin continued on.

"But-" I started.

"Why won't you let us see her? It's been years. And we won't take her from you." Jhope said, trying to compromise.

"Are you forgetting that she was here, not too long ago. But you guys made her forget us again." I said angrily.

Yoongi joined in, "Well how were we supposed to know that she was our Dumpling and not some spy sent from the one after us?"
