I was zoned out looking at his brown hair thinking of how he shaped it.He asked me what I was doing and giggled."Um, are you okay?" He asked, I zoned back in and smiled "I'm fine.","Oh, okay" he smiled back.
"Sorry to ask, but how do you do your hair like that?" I laughed. He laughed too, for what my mind was thinking and what my mouth was saying. "I quiff it up and twirl my hands." He replied. I didn't get what he said but I pretended to.
He asked me what my life was like, I opened my mouth and began to speak real words "my life is messed up, I watch Netflix and listen to the music that means the most to me. My life fell apart after my beloved grandmother, Rosemary, died from breast cancer. I've been sad, most likely depressed, and I feel selfish. We shared a birthday; well, we still do, but on our birthday I just feel selfish by saying it's my birthday.".... I paused and said " sorry if I'm boring you" he told me to go on. So I did. "I'm 17 and people don't treat me like I am, they treat me as if I were a childish brat. Nobody really talks to me, so I guess I'm a loner." I finished off with that. He told me that he's 17 too and that he went to Taylor High School. "I go there too." I told him, he smirked at me and started to right some thing down. He gave it to me, "I have to go, bye." he waved. I looked down at the piece of paper and it was his number with "call me." On it, I blushed. I noticed that I didn't know his name. I grabbed my trash, threw it away, and chased after him. As soon as I ran up to him he turned around, and we ran into each other. "Sorry, I just forgot to get your name." He said "me too." I replied. " my name is "Elizabeth, but you can call me Ellie." I told Him. "My name is Colton." he replied.
