Long ago in a city named Lushington lived a boy who not only grew up to the age eleven, but he had also discovered something special about himself.
He could do all sorts of things with just the power of his mind. He always longed for something to finally happen in this boring world and was overjoyed that it was him that could make this world somewhat interesting.
In fact he was so excited that he shown his entire family, friends, along with strangers and kids he'd come across on the street. Although, little did he know about the circumstances.
Instead no one knew how to react to such a thing happening. Were they suppose to show excitement or were they supposed to be afraid? The only group of people that seemed remotely interested were the kids his own age.
The people in the city began talking, spreading rumors about what they have seen and heard about the boy. You couldn't go anywhere without overhearing someone talking about him. Within weeks the news got ahold of the information and spread it globally.
Out in public he would disguise himself by wearing hoodies and during school, only then to soon be called out by someone. They all eventually learned.
The boy watched the people he loved and cared for turn their backs on him. They didn't want to be known for associating with him, so they all eventually left. Causing him to be alone.
Once he had learned that scientists have moved into the city in hopes to get their hands on him, he gone into hiding. He stopped going to school and only adventured out when he needed to.
One day, it came. A scientist gone by the name Professor Layton, captured the boy one night on a walk to the grocery store. He brought him back to his lab and locked him in a room, tied up to a chair.
The Professor questioned him for nine months before he had gone mad. The boy wouldn't talk. He tried small talk, asking questions, he even talked about his life with the boy to try and get something out of him. The only choice left for the Professor to do is torture.
The boy suffered a year worth of burns, cuts, bruises, and more. No one could ever imagine what the boy has gone through, but one thing for certain that in the records the boy died not too much later after he surrendered.
The Professor opened the door into the boys room only to find him out of his chair, standing as he looked at the ground. As soon as the boy raised his arm, you could hear the door breaking from its hold. Before the Professor knew, he was instantly smashed against the wall, dying on impact.
The boy was able to make his way to the outside world only to find the police surrounding the building. They asked him to surrender, and surprisingly, he did.
Ever since that day, it has become law that anyone who possessed these special capabilities were to be reported. Once reported they were captured and taken to a place only the higher authority knows where. Those who dare to help these special people were to also be persecuted.
