“As you can see, I am still here,” Zeus said. He stood up straight with pride, showing that he was, in fact, real.

“You shouldn’t have come back,” Titan said. He ran over in an attempt to attack Zeus, but Zeus bit him in the back of the neck and launched back next to Echo and Blanco who looked at him and then at Zeus with fear.

“I am going to let you walk away,” Zeus said. “If you ever come back, you won’t be able to.”

Titan looked at Zeus and then at the rest of the wolves. They were all staring at him. “This won’t be the last you see of me,” Titan said. He ran into the woods. Echo and Blanco looked at each other and then ran after him. Some other wolves that were loyal to Titan left as well.

The pack started howling and cheering. They were glad that he had left. Zeus turned around and helped Luna get up. She just looked up at him in shock. “It wasn’t a dream,” Luna said. “You were at the cave that night. I thought it wasn’t real.”

“It was real,” Zeus replied.

“Where have you been all this time,” Luna asked.

Zeus opened his mouth to say something but before he could say anything, Apollo jumped onto his father’s back, knocking them both over. “What...What’s going on?” Zeus noticed.

“It’s me, dad,” Apollo replied. “It’s Apollo.”

“Apollo?” Zeus asked. When he noticed that it was Apollo, he embraced his son in a tight hug. “Hey, buddy, I missed you so much.”

“I missed you, too, dad,” Apollo replied. “Where have you been all this time?”

Zeus and Apollo got up. “When I was kicked out of the pack, instead of looking for a new pack, I became a lone wolf. I went through the woods all around this area, looking for anyone who required assistance. After a while, I retrieved the name ‘Custodem Saltus’.”

“Guardian of the Forest,” Luna translated the Latin phrase to English.

“Exactly,” Zeus replied.

“Who are the other two wolves that came with you?” asked Luna, referring to the two new wolves. Hearing this, the two wolves came closer.

“Their names are Solstice and Silverback,” Zeus replied. “Solstice, the one on my right with the different color eyes, joined me after losing his pack in a fire. Silverback, the one on my left. You can tell by the silver streak of fur running down his spine.”

“Nice to meet you,” Luna said.

They bowed their heads, a sign of respect. “The honor is all ours,” Silverback replied. She and Apollo bowed her head in response.

“They are the most loyal pups I have ever met,” Zeus exclaimed. “They will be loyal to the alpha of their pack, who used to be me.”

“What do you mean ‘used to’?” asked Luna.

“Well, when it was just us three, I used to be their leader. But now since they belong to your pack, they will be loyal to you,” Zeus replied.

“Wait a minute, I’m not the alpha,” Luna replied.

“Of course you are,” Zeus insisted. “Since you beat Titan in a fight, you are now the alpha of this pack.”

“But you had to get into the fight. You were the one who scared him away. This is your pack.”

“I only got in because he brought in two others.”

“But what will you do?” asked Apollo.
