(Y/n) stood in the dollar store, staring at the pet section. It was dark outside and there weren't that many people around. The only employee there yawned, waiting for the girl to leave so they could close up.

Deciding a color was hard. She had no idea what their preferred color was so she just chose plain black ones and headed to the counter to check out.

The employee glanced at her. "Stocking up or something?"

"Yeah.. something like that," she replies, taking out her wallet.

Taking the bag from the worker, she quickly pays and exits the store. She gets into her car and heads home. The anger from earlier had already burned out, leaving her slightly empty.

Before she knew it, she was in front of her house. The human sets her keys down on a table and walks into the kitchen, seeing Sami waiting up for her. He stands up and smiles.

"Most of them are asleep," he says softly.

"I figured. It was getting kind of late. I'll give these to them in the morning," she says, setting the bag on the counter and digging through it.

Sami watches as she pulls one out and digs around the kitchen drawers for scissors. The tag falls to the floor and she smiles at Sami. "Come here."

He flushes slightly and steps closer, bending his head down so she can reach him. His breath hitches a little as he hears a click, the last thing binding him to that monster finally releasing him.

(Y/n) puts the new one around his neck and smiles up at him. "There you go.."

He smiles, too. She quickly presses a soft kiss to his lips and his heart swells. "(Y/n)!" He whisper yells.

"Yes?"

His eyes fill with tears threatening to take over. "Thank you.." he pulls her into a big hug, sniffling as he held back the tears.

She wraps her arms around him and squeezes him tight. "You're so welcome," she says with a little laugh as he starts purring. "Come on, you need your sleep."

He pulls back and wipes his eyes, nodding in agreement. "I think Max is still waiting up on you," he says before bidding her good night.

The human walks over to her room with the bag. Opening the door quietly, she peeks her head into the room. Max looked up from his spot on the bed. He had the blanket around his shoulders, pillows surrounding him. He clears his throat and flushes. "Sorry.."

She walks in and shuts the door behind her, grinning. "Comfortable?"

He nods and tilts his head at the bag in her hands. "What's that?"

She sets the bag on the dresser and digs through it. Pulling one out, she walks over to the bed with it behind her back. "Close your eyes."

He narrows them. "Why?"

"Just do it."

With hesitation, he closes them. She reaches over and unclasps his old collar. Immediately, his eyes fly open. "W-What are you doing?" She presses the new one into his hand and his breath hitches.

"Wait.. you- you actually want.." he looks at her with bewilderment.

"Yes. Is that okay with you?"

"Y-Yeah!" He struggles to hold back a smile. She disposes of the old collar and fastens the new one around his neck. He lifts a hand up and touches it, still in shock. While he was distracted, she plants a short kiss on his lips.

He jumps back and stares at her with wide eyes. "W-Wait! You- you- you don't know what you just did I-"

"Sami told me. I know."

He gulps and looks down at his hands. "Oh.."

She reaches forward and takes his hands in hers. He flushes and shifts. "Was that not okay? I should've asked you.."

He looks up and shakes his head frantically. "N-no it's fine I just..." He looks back down and squeezes her hands. "Please don't hurt me.."

She pulls him in for a tight hug. At first, he was tense and didn't reciprocate it. But after a couple seconds he realizes she wasn't going to let go and gives up, slumping against her. "I would never ever hurt you."

He nods against her shoulder. "I believe you," he whispers.

The next morning, you claimed the others. Tate smiled and Wesley was bouncing in his seat, filled to the brim with happiness. Thatcher attempted to extend the kiss longer than necessary, which earned him a light smack on the arm. Fox was zipping around the house, exclaiming his happiness for everyone to hear. Spencer started crying but he promised they were happy tears.

The humans phone rings and she picks it up. "Hello? ...oh, hey! Yeah of course I can... alright, seeya then." She ends the call with a smile.

Thatcher frowns and takes her phone. "Who was that and why did they make you so happy?"

She raises her eyebrow and takes her phone back. "Someone jealous?"

He looks away, answering her question.

"Chill. I'm just going to visit my brother for a little bit. He's actually in town today."

Spencer grabs her sleeve. "You're leaving?"

She nods. "Only for lunch, though. Is that okay with you guys?"

Reluctantly, they nod. Rolling her eyes playfully, she smiles. "I'm coming back. I promise."

Lunch rolled around much sooner than any of them would like. The boys stood in a line in front of the door while she grabbed her keys. Looking back, she sighs and walks over. Placing a kiss on each of their cheeks, she bids them good bye and leaves.

Max grumbles and walks away, pretending he didn't just swoon. Tate stood there and put a hand to his cheek. Wesley turned bright red, steam practically coming out of his eyes. Hell, even Thatcher was flustered. Fox malfunctioned, not knowing how to handle the unexpected affection. Sami beamed and Spencer let out a happy sound.

Her brother sent her directions to the place they would be getting lunch at. Of course, it was high class. Damien, her brother, was very successful. He owned a company out of town and didn't often come to visit. So this was definitely a rare and special occasion.

Listening to Siri read out the directions to her, she followed the GPS and soon arrived.

Stepping out of her car, she walks inside and scans the area for the familiar brown hair of her brother.

Spotting him, she smiles and walks over. However, she soon stops dead in her tracks when she sees his bodyguard behind him. It wasn't that much of a surprise, considering he had a body guard with him everywhere, but this? This was different.

She knew him. She knew him, and she hated him with every fiber in her body.

But... it couldn't be him.. right?
