Chija's POV:
After an eternity of watching them in awe as they danced to the best of their ability, they finally finished. I could practically hear their hearts pounding from across the room.
"Noona! Can I please have some water!" Seungmin whined, pouting as Hyunjin teased him by holding the water bottle away. I giggled, smiling at the fact that they still had their goofy side and felt more comfortable around me.
I walked over to the table, grabbing a bottle of water from the icebox before giving it to Seugnmin, laughing as Hyunjin pouted at the fact that I had taken Seungmins side. "Noona, you were supposed to be on my side!" he whined, causing the others to chuckle at his childish behaviour.
After everyone finished replenishing and freshening themselves up, we all made our way to the fitting, and thankfully we were right on schedule. As we were making our way into the building, I got a call from what looked like to be a local number. I sighed, catching the attention of the others.
"Chija-ah, are you okay?" Changbin asked, a look of concern washing over his soft features. I smiled, my heart fluttering at how they worried about me. "Yeah, it's just I've got to take this call. You guys go on ahead; I'll catch up soon. Okay?" I instructed, smiling once more as they all nodded, making their way into the building, leaving me outside to deal with the mystery caller.
I picked up the call, waiting for the person o the other line to speak. "Ah! Chija! I'm glad you picked up!" A rough voice spoke on the other line, causing my skin to crawl. It sounded so familiar; however, I couldn't put my finger on it... Oh god. It couldn't be... "Jeonghan..." I whispered, my throat clogging up with emotion. When I heard the man chuckle, I knew my assumptions were correct.
"Aww, Chija, I'm surprised you still remember me... after all, it's been almost two years since we last spoke..." He growled out, anger evident in his tone. I gulped harshly, my head spinning as I felt like I was about to throw up.
"Jeonghan, I don't know how you got my number or what you want, but I have a restraining order; you cannot hurt me anymore..." I whispered, mostly trying to reassure myself of the fact. Almost instantly, I was met with his disgusting voice. "Oh Chija, my love.... no matter what happens, I will always have power over you... even if I'm not there physically, I have left my mark... you'll never escape your past, no matter how hard you try..." he snarled before hanging up.
I dropped to the ground, breathing laboured as I tried my best not to pass out. I was so wrapped up in my thoughts that I hadn't even realised that Jisungwas was running over to me, a look of fear and worry plastered on his face. "Noona! Are you alright? what happened?" He asked, helping me stand up. I shook my head, trying to pry myself away from the dark thoughts floating in my head.
I put on a fake smile, praying that he wouldn't see through it. "Oh, sorry, Jisung. I was talking to my brother and didn't even realise that a small stone was in front of me, so I tripped. Silly me," I giggled nervously, watching his expressions. He eyed me sceptically before sighing in relief. "Noona! be more careful!" He scolded me playfully before leading me to their fitting room to finish off the session.
After the fitting session, we all piled our way back into the car, laughing and talking as we made our way to their shoot for their upcoming music video. I was too caught up in my fears and worries to realise that Minho was trying to talk to me.
"Chija!" A voice shouted, startling me. "Yah! what happened? Are you hurt?" I asked in worry, glancing at the eight boys before sighing in relief. "Wah! Why did you scare me like that? I thought someone was hurt~" I whined childishly, blushing slightly as they chuckled at my behaviour.
