I Could Fall In Love

I knew Selena and Chris loved eachother very much.

I also knew they were trying to hide their relationship. Well atleast one of them.

Selena was more open about them, while Chris on the other hand..was very quiet.

Selena would come up from behind and hug Chris and kiss him when we were all hanging out.

Chris was skeptical about it, but soon, they had no more worries.

I was at the store getting snacks for everyone when I got a call from Selena.

"Hello"?

"Y/n we did it!" She said excitedly.

"You did what? And who?" I asked confused.

"Me and Chris! We got married!"

At that moment it felt like a miracle had just happened, but still tragedy struck at the same time.

I thought it was amazing they had gotten married, but I thought about what would happen with the band.

Would Abraham end it? There was nobody standing in his way in his eyes.

"That's great Selena! Congratulations!" I said finally.

She thanked me and hung up.

I bought everything I wanted and walked to my car.

I put everything in the trunk and stepped inside the car.

On the drive back to Selena's house, I kept thinking things like "what will Abraham think" or "how will this end".

I made it home to see everyone but Abraham at the dinner table.

Judging by their faces, I assumed they had heard the news somehow.

Finally after what felt like hours, which was really minutes, somebody spoke.

"I still don't understand. How could she get married, just out of nowhere like that?" Suzette asked.

I joined them at the table and we all just kinda sat there, silently. Nobody knew what to say really.

It was still so quiet you could hear a pen hit the floor, until we were all startled by the doorbell.

Marcella got up to answer it and Suzette, A.B and I just sat there still.

When Marcella came back, she had someone with her.

It was Selena!

We greeted her and everyone was crying.

"Your father is in the room over there". And with that Selena went into the room.

Minutes later she came out, Abraham following behind her.

She smiled and walker to the door, my eyes followed her, as well as everybody else did.

When she returned, Chris was with her. He looked scared but like he didn't want anybody to see it.

Everybody welcomed Chris to the family. Well everybody except me.

This was a great day for us, I believe it brought us all closer to be honest.
