I woke up to the sun in my eyes and the nose of cars outside. But surprisingly, the house was quiet.

I sat up and look around the room rubbing my eyes.

"Goodmorning y/n" Selena said, startling me.

I looked over at her in her direction and said good morning back.

"I'm kinda hungry, do y'all have cereal or anything I can eat?" I asked.

She got out of bed and motioned for me to follow her as we left the room.

She got me a bowl because, even after months of living with her family and being with her 24/7, I still have no idea where anything was.

"Here you go" she said with a smile.

I thanked her and began to put the milk and cereal in the bowl, while also grabbing a spoon.

Selena walked over to the couch and put on something for us to watch on tv.

And of course, she put on her favorite, Tom and Jerry.

"You love this show don't you" I said. "Always watching it"

She turned around to me and started laughing, making me laugh too. She's got a contagious laugh.

Taking the last bite of my breakfast, I got up out of my seat and put my dishes in the sink.

When I turned around, I saw Selena and Abraham, talking about something.

I didn't wanna get in the way, especially of Abraham, so I went to sit down on the couch until he was out of sight.

Selena came to sit down next to me and we sat in awkward silence.

It's never this quiet around Selena, she was always talking or messing around, but now somethings off.

She's not crying but just sitting quietly, not doing anything or even moving an inch.

Breaking the silence I finally said something.

"Selena what's wrong? You've been really quiet. Are you alright?"

She sighed and told me that it was her entire life.

Just everything in it. The shows, her marriage, just everything.

I decided to try to make her feel better and told her I'd take her out later today.

She smiled and ran upstairs to get ready.

While she was doing that I went next door and let Chris know that we'd be out later, he said ok and I went back to tell Abraham.

He was ok with it as well.
