All By Myself
— 02. A night to remember

After walking for about a minute or two Gina turns a corner on a street and thats when she hears a faint thumping noises in the distance. As she gets closer towards the end of the street, and the sound gets louder and clearer.

When Gina finally find the origin of the sound she stop in her tracks.

The sound was coming from this enormous two story brick house with neon lights coming through the drapes on the windows.

This must be Theo's house.

She tries to push everything that just happened between her and Ricky aside as she walk towards the house. As Gina get closer there's people outside talking, trying my best not to bump into anyone who's standing outside on the lawn, she makes her way into the house.

Once inside Gina scans the room in hopes of seeing Ashlyn, but doesn't, so she decides to text her.

Hey are you here yet?

Ash💛
No not yet. But I think E.J.
is see if you can find him.

Gina <3
Ok. Also Can I sleep over tonight?
if it's okay with your parents?

Ash💛
yes, definitely! My parents are out of
town but I know they wouldn't mind.

Thanks Ash.

Np but..... E.J. is also gonna
sleep over his parent don't
like him staying out late and partying,
so he usually stays comes to my house
to avoid getting in trouble.

I forget you two are cousin
sometimes🤦🏽‍♀️.

I think we all do.

Looking around the down stairs and she finally spots E.J.  at a pool table with a couple of his friends.

"Hi E.J.!" Gina say greetings him with a smile.

"Hey Gi." He says smiling brightly and pulling me into a side hug.

"You're in a good mood today." she comment's looking up at him.

"I guess it's just one of those days, I guess." He shrugs.

"Mhmm." She says eyeing him suspiciously.

"What?"

"I don't know.... feels like you have plans brewing."

"What! Me? Never, " He says coily. "Sure." Gina says laughing.
