so after the event maki and i have the same routine. we wake up, go to the cafe, come back and train, then do whatever the rest of the day. lately we've been going on a lot of dates whether they're going out or stay in one another's room to watch movie and do face mask. today we were just training until my mom called

"hey maki hol up my momma callin" i say and she puts her thumb up and i walk away

maki's pov
about everyday y/n and i do dates. i really like her like a lot and i want to ask her out but i'm not too sure when. i love everything about her though. her attitude, her skin, her hair- speaking of her hair i'm supposed to help her today with 3 strand twisting it

a few minutes later y/n came back but something was off.....

my mom called to check on me and tell me that my sister who is about 1 years younger than me is coming down. she asked me how everything was doing down here and i told her about everyone especially maki which was a bad move because they're delusional christians and the conversation went like this

".....yea ma everyone down here is cool. oh and i met this girl named maki she dope i think precious (that's gonna be the sisters name) gon like her" i says

"ooohhhh i see. do you like maki?" she asked playfully but actually meaning the question

"i- yea mom i-i do like maki a lot" i tell her realizing that i have REAL feelings for her

"oh" she said disgusted

"what's wrong" i asked

"y/n please tell me u playin. that's not right. god made men and women to love each other of the opposite sex not the same. u could go straight to hell for that" she says

"does the bible say that?" i asked surprised by what i just said

"excuse you" she asked me

"does the bible say that we'll go to hell if we love the same sex" i asked her

"jesus said it and that all u need to know. now i want you to comeback with your sister so we can pray that evil disgusting spirit out of u" she said

"no" i reply

"mothafucker what u say" she yelled

"i said no. this isn't an evil spirit it's how i feel so that's just it" i tell her

"LOOK HERE BITCH U EITHER GON BRING YO ASS HERE AND GET FIXED OR YOU GON TAKE YO GAY FAGOT ASS TO HELL. IM TRYNA SAVE YO DISOBEDIENT ASS FROM GOING TO HELL" she said and my eyes go wide from all the things she just called me

"(M/N) U BET NOT CALL THAT CHILD THAT EVER IN YO LIFE AGAIN LET HER LIVE HER LIFE" my auntie yelled in the background

"NOT AS A FAGOT- look don't call my phone no more" she said before hanging up. after that i was just over everything like damn my own momma just said that to me

after the call was over i walked out to see maki

"hey y/n, everything ok?" she asked. i can't tell her what my momma said. how would she react? would she be mad? mad at me or my
mom?

"umm yea everything's fine. can we cancel for today my sister is coming to visit for a week and i want to get a few things done?" i asked

"yea sure we can cancel" she says and i put on a smile and hug her

"thank you" i say and she hugs me back

"no problem" she says and i go get my room ready

-time skip

after a few hours my sister came to the building

"HEY BITCH" she yelled and jumps in my arms

"wassup" i say and everyone looks at us

"precious this the gang. megumi fushiguro, nobara kugiskai, junpei yoshino he new to the gang, panda, toge inumaki, and maki zen'in. call everyone by their last name except maki" i explain

"hey y'all i'm her sister it's nice meeting y'all but i gotta talk to my sister" she says walking to my room

once we got there we just vent about our momma and what she been doing for a few hours

"aight well lemme do my hair there's netflix and shit on the tv" i say putting my headphones on and playing music

maki's pov
after y/n cancelled for today she's just been staying to herself. did something happen? did i do something? a few minutes later her sister walks in and introduced herself and left in a blink of an eye. some more hours go by and i decide to go check on y/n. i knocked on her door and her sister said i could come in

when i walked in i saw y/n at her mirror doing her hair and her sister watching saiki k. y/n had her headphones blasting music but she still turned around and waved at me and i waved back then precious signaled me over to her

"so are you maki or is the brown haired girl maki" she asked me

"i'm maki why"  i asked

"do you like my sister?" she asked

"yes a lot- what's going on?" i asked

"ok great. look i don't know if u know this but my sister like u a lot. i mean she even argued with our momma which led to our momma calling her some nasty names so i wanted to make sure that u at least liked her back" she said and my heart broke. she's told me that her mom was scary and she argued with her knowing what could possibly happen for me?

"so that's what was wrong with y/n" i say and she nods

"so when do plan on asking her out" she asked

"i actually don't know yet" i say and she nods

"good because your gonna ask her out either right now or tomorrow" she says that's kinda soon but the sooner the better

"tomorrow i have an idea" i say getting up to leave but i have to say bye to y/n. so i go by her and wrap my arms around her shoulders

"i'll see you tomorrow. we don't have early training tomorrow" i tell her and she nods hugging me back.

a/n: am i aware that this book is going fast? yes. but when u think about it this is. really 3 months of going on dates and shot like that but i wasn't planning on this book to be long anyways.
