ENGAGEMENT DAY

It was finally the engagement day. Everyone was excited for it especially Naksh Keerti. There was hustle and bustle in both the houses. Everyone was busy getting ready while kartik was upset seeing the closeness between Rishabh and Naira.

IN KARTIK'S ROOM

Kartik was resting when Rishabh came to him informing him that they have to leave to check the arrangements.

Rishabh: dude hume jana padega kuch last moment pe problem ho gyi hai
Kartik: lekin agar hum ab jaiyege tao vapis akar tayar lab honge
Rishabh: hum vaha jakar kaam karne k baad vahi room mei change karlenge
Kartik: fine mai ataa hu tu samaan rakh gaadi mei
Rishabh: well kartik mai soch raha agar hum naira ko bhi saath le jai tao. Actually voh
Kartik: ose puchle agar anaa chahti hai tao le jaiyege vaise bhi lighting ka tao ose hi pta hai
Rishabh: theek hai tu jaldi aa mai staff ko kehkar tera samaan gaadi mei rakhvata hu
Kartik: fine mai mom dad batakar aata hu

Later they went to Singhania Sadan to pick naira. Naira wad first reluctant to go but on learning that kartik is also going so she agreed as she had to talk to kartik about her joining him.

IN CAR

Rishabh: hey tune apne kapde le liye haina naira vaha jakar chillana mat
Naira: chillati mai nhi tu chillata hai
Rishabh: acha yaad hai jab meri birthday party thi aur teri dress kharab ho gyi thi kitna drama lagaya tha tune
Naira: kyuki tune meri dress jaanbhujhkar kharab ki thi.
Rishabh: kyuki tune mere birthday gift khola tha jo abhi maine dekha bhi nhi tha
Kartik: stop it guys
Naira: isne shuru kiya tha
Rishabh: haa tu tao kuch bolti hi nhi hai
Kartik: tu log plz chup karoge
Naira: yeah sure

The rest of the ride was silent as kartik turned the radio on. They soon reached the venue and were instructing the workers in decoration. Rishabh and Kartik were done but naira was left with lightings. Rishabh went to attend some call while kartik joined naira.

Kartik: ho gya
Naira: haa bas yeh lighting ek baar check karni hai k work kar rhi hai k nhi
Kartik: oh
Naira: kartik
Kartik: hmm
Naira: tumhe tao pta when I will join you sab log puchenge why I am doing so.
Kartik: plz kisiko yeh mat batana mujhe papa ka business handle karna hai. Mai baad mei bata dungi. Abhi k liye term it as a dream.
Kartik: as your wish. Vaise tum mujhe join kab se karogi.
Naira: shaadi k baad
Kartik: shaadi ko tao abhi time
Naira: tao phir
Kartik: you can join me from the monday
Naira: as you say
Kartik: ok then done

Naira was about to say yes when the lights turned on. Kartik gives its resemblance to her brightful future to which she smiled with slight blush on her cheeks which didm't went unnotice by Kartik. They both were smiling and talking when Rishabh came. Seeing them together He didn't know why but he felt a  jealous. He didn't want to feel so but he just can't see any man near her ever even his brother.

Rishabh(covering up his feelings): guys chalo bhi ready nhi hona kya
Kartik: haa chal
Rishabh: maine do room book kiye ha mai aur kartik ek mei aur naira tum pass wale mei
Naira: tum log ready ho jao mujhe yeh lighting ka dekhna hai abhi
Kartik: yeh tao ho gya na
Naira: nhi voh os side ki baaki hai
Rishabh: theek hai lekin jaldi karna sab log nikal gye hai aur aate hi honge

Naira went to check the lightings while both of them went to get ready.  After some time naira to went to change and mistakenly entered kartik and rishabh's room but only kartik was there as Rishabh went towards their family to check.

Kartik: hey rishabh plz yeh meri tie sahi karde yaar mujhe badhani nhi aati
Naira: its me kartik
Kartik: naira tum yaha
Naira: mai voh galti se yaha aa gyi
Kartik: oh
Naira: if you don't mind mai tie kardu
Kartik: lekin tum late tao nhi rhi
Naira: ab 5 minute se kya hi farak padega
