New Normal

Naira didn't have any conversation with kartik. She was feeling awkward in talking to him as she knew he kissed her. She didn't want to bring in the topic as she didn't want to complicate their relation too. She thought he was kissed her by mistake and if she will bring this topic it will make their relation a bit awkward which she couldn't afford. Already Rishabh wasn't talking to her and she didn't want kartik to stop talking to her too.

While Kartik mentally cursed himself for kissing her. He initially thought that she woke because of his action but later   on after seeing her normal behaviour he thought that she didn't know that. He thanked God and he knew he won't be able to make up an excuse. He didn't want to bring awkwardness between them and also didn't want to lie to her. He himself didn't know why he kissed her it was just that he being so lost in her pecked her cheeks.

Although naira didn't show up with any reaction yet her cheeks were red. She didn't know why but she did feel enlightened seeing him so close to her. On the other hand, kartik too felt contented seeing her blush. Right now, they were in the car on their way towards the Resort they booked for the wedding functions. Kartik decided to break the silence as it was kind of awkward for him.

Kartik: vaise tumhara aaj raat ka kya plan hai
Naira: kuch nhi hai kyu
Kartik: I was thinking we can have a dinner together. If you don't have any problem. Just both of us
Naira: yeah sure
Kartik: okay then
Naira: kartik
Kartik(being busy in his phone): hmm
Naira: did you

She was about to ask him whether he kissed her but got interrupted as her phone rang. It was aditi's call and she decided to drop the topic. She got busy with aditi while kartik was already busy scrolling through his instagram handle.

IN HOTEL ROOM

After checking in,  everyone went to their respective rooms to freshen up. Naira was sharing her room with mishti. Mishti was in bathroom while naira was waiting for her to come. Naira was scrolling her phone when Kartik messaged her.

CHAT

KARTIK: HEY, YOU ARE READY?
NAIRA: ITNI JALDI ABHI TAO TIME HAINA
KARTIK: HAA MAI TAO BAS CONFIRM KAR RAHA THA K TUM KAHI BHUL TAO NHI GYI
NAIRA: NHI MUJHE YAAD HAI DON'T WORRY
KARTIK: OKAY FINE KAI 1 GHANTE TAK TUMHE RECEPTION K PASS MILUGA
NAIRA: YEAH SURE
KARTIK: BYE
NAIRA: BYE

Naira found his behaviour weird. First he was ignoring her from last few days and now abruptly he asked her for a dinner. She was lost when mishti came. She noticed naira lost and brought her back into her senses.

Mishti: kya hua di
Naira: kuch nhi voh bas aise hi
Mishti: acha phir chalo fresh ho jao phir dinner k liye chalte hai
Naira: tum chali jao
Mishti: kyu aap nhi aa rhe
Naira: nhi voh actually I am going with Kartik. Voh osne
Mishti(in a teasing tone): ohhhh Date right
Nairs(throwing the pillow): shut up aisa kuch nhi hai. It was just that k mai upset thi aur osne offer kiya.
Mishti(shrugging it off): kehna mei kya jata hai
Naira: shut your mouth mishti
Mishti: vaise ready hone mei help karu k

Naira glared at her while mishti laughed at her and made her way outside to join others for lunch. She said best of luck for her date and went leaving her confused. Naira got up from her seat and decided to look up for some dress she can wear for dinner. Naira didn't know why she just became so self conscious and wanted to look good in front of kartik. She took out a dress and made her way towards the bathroom. Soon she got ready and was not standing in front of a mirror talking to herself.

Naira's POV

Pta nhi kyu kya ho gya hai mujhe. Kyu mai mishti ki baato mei akar sach mei aise feel kar rhi hu jaise date pe jaa rhi hu. Relax naira it is just a dinner.
