Minutes later Y/n woke up but it was still night time and Five was still asleep she got up and decided to do something. She knows who El is and she don't want El to be killed. She use the briefcase to travel back in the commission. As she went to the commission she saw Herb in the Tube Room.

"Y/n? What are you doing here... and why are you in your pajamas?" Herb asked.

"Look, I know El. We used to have the same papa. We were very young when we last saw each other but I remember her. So please," Y/n said trying to ask Herb a favor.

"I'm sorry Y/n. We kill to make the timeline better-" Herb said as Y/n cut him off.

"Why do we have to kill her? She won't screw up the timeline," Y/n said. Herb looked at her and decided to show her something.

"I'll show you something," Herb lead the way while Y/n followed him. As Herb take a turn and he was going to show something in the infinite switchboard. Herb started to explain, "You see, Y/n... She opened the gate in this so called 'Upside Down' then she closed the gate after that the Russians open it again"

"So we can't kill her," Y/n conclude.

"Why? If we kill her the gate will shut automatically," Herb said.

"Who said that?"

"Someone told me that's how it would work," Herb said.

"No! If you kill her the Russian can continue opening that! It won't close by itself, she is the only person that can close that gate other than the machine, so were not going to kill her." Y/n explained.

"Good point! I'm convince, but you still have to stay in Hawkins until we get in the bottom of this," Herb said.

"Thank you so much," Herb smiled at her back as she went back to the motel with a new briefcase (okay I don't know if the briefcase can be used unlimitedly or just one time so to be sure she just travel back with a new one) and continue her sleep.

The next morning Y/n woke up seeing Five with the tube. He opened it and read it.

Do not terminate Jane Hopper wait for explicit instructions.

Five made a confused face and look at Y/n and read the office letter for her. "What? 'Do not terminate Jane Hopper wait for explicit instructions??' So we are going to stay here until give us instructions??" Five asked confused.

"I guess so," Y/n said as she get up in the bed and make coffee.

"Well we have to find a new place to stay," Five said.

"I need new clothes,"

"Seriously Y/n we are on a mission," Five said with a serious face.

"Yeah but that doesn't mean I can't wear clothes. Plus why do we need a new place to stay, we can stay here."

"Okay, first of all we need a new place to stay because their bed is so small for the both of us," Five said as Y/n cut her off.

"That's why it's called single bed," She said and smiled slightly Five gave her a death glare and continued,

"Second its very shitty here but their overnight is quite expensive and Third I can't stand sleeping beside you,"

"I can't too, I can't stand sleeping beside you.. I have to lay down," Y/n said sarcastically.

"Funny joke. Made me laugh." Five said sarcastically without a smile and looking serious. Y/n rolled her eyes.

Later that day they went outside. Y/n shopped for some clothes and change to the clothes that she bought. Five was holding all of the things Y/n bought while walking around Starcourt Y/n remembered something.

"I actually know a place to stay. Free and a nice place," Y/n said.

"Really, where?" Five asked as Y/n just smiled at her. She pulled Five's wrist and while they're running Five focused on Y/n's hand in his wrist. Y/n then let go of his wrist and enters the bus as she gestures for Five to follow her. Five followed. Y/n then found a seat and Five sat beside her.

"You know your clothes are very ridiculous, it's like you never take that uniform off the only time I see you without those is when we are sleeping cause you have PJs on. You should've buy your own clothes," Y/n said.

"How can I buy if you drag me here," Five said annoyed while Y/n is still smiling.

"Let's buy later or tomorrow,"

"No, I want these clothes. It looks more formal and I would look younger when I wear other clothes,"  Five said.

"That's because you ARE young," Y/n said and Five didn't answered back. Y/n was so excited. She knows where to go next. She was smiling. She put her arm in the bus window and looked at it.  They both get off the bus as they continue to walk Y/n was so excited. Until they reach the house and she rang the doorbell. Someone opened the door.

"Jonathan?" Y/n asked as Jonathan furrowed his eyebrows trying to remember who she was because Jonathan knew Y/n is familiar. Seconds later Jonathan realize after a seconds of silence while Five was just watching at Y/n's back.

"Holy shit! Y/n!" Jonathan said then immediately hugged Y/n as they pull away, "You've grown," he said.

"I did," Y/n said nodding and smiling as they hug again and pull away.

"The family misses you," Jonathan said smiling.

"I miss you too guys," She said as she added, "By the way this is Five my sort of sibling and not," She moves away as Jonathan offered for a handshake, Five shake Jonathan's hand.

"Where's Will?" Y/n asked.

"He was in the movie with Mike and others," Jonathan said as he added "Oh guys come in," he said gesturing Y/n and Five to go inside. They go inside and seat on the couch. "Mom's still at work. I'll call her I'm sure she won't mind coming home early for you," Jonathan smiled.

"No, you don't have too," Y/n said.

"Listen Y/n. You're like the younger sister I never had and you're like mom's daughter already so come on. What's the problem to celebrate a feast for the girl in the family?" Jonathan said as he called Joyce.

Meanwhile Five and Y/n talk while Jonathan was on the phone with Joyce.

"I'm always at their house more than at my old house before I never want to go home in my real house back then its like this was my home, I celebrate my birthday here, Christmas, New Year, etc. They treat me like family we should stay here," Y/n quietly explain to Five as Five nods. Jonathan hang up the phone as he talked to Y/n.

"I have to leave first, you can watch TV. I'm glad your back," Jonathan said with a smile. Five was sitting in the very side of the couch. Y/n decided to lay down and put her head in Five's lap. Five plays with Y/n's hair as Y/n fell asleep. Not later Five fell asleep as well.
