Troubles Coming

Game Plan

Hayden and Sasha were surrounded by empty coffee cups, empty chip bags and energy drink cans. "How the fuck are we going to do this?", Sasha asked, chewing the cap of the black pen in frustration. "We're going to be more organized", Hayden said, "We need to outwit him. This guy is clearly very smart and cunning. We need to be 5 steps ahead at all times". Sasha nodded, taking all this information in. "So, we're really going to have to take him down Thursday", she said, "We only have til Friday to bring him back". "Yes, your right", Hayden said, "So we have to get this game plan as tight as we can on Wednesday". Sasha thought, "Maybe we should try a night attack?", she suggested. "So, if we do this Thursday night, we can safely say he will think we've given up?", Hayden asked. Sasha nodded, "Exactly". Hayden and Sasha were now on the same page; now they could be as productive as possible. 

Zain wasted most of the day until it was time to go. He asked every five minutes what time it was to Alexa. He got help from Alexa who dressed him in a dress shirt and black tie. Shepard sat patiently on the floor waiting for the command. "Alexa, what time is it?", Zain asked, hoping it was now time. "It is 2:13", Alex said. Zain nodded, he whistled for Shepard who came running over. to Zain's side. Zain took a deep breath and he reached for the doorknob of his front door. He turned it and felt the heat of the sun. "You always loved the sun didn't you", Zain said, thinking of Vlad. Shepard led Zain safely down the stairs and they were on the flat sidewalk. Zain had been to the graveyard before and his feet led him there as the lack of traffic made it safe to cross the street at his own will. Shepard started whimpering and Zain guessed they were at their destination. "Here we go then", Zain said, taking a deep breath and entering the graveyard entrance. Zain wished he and Vlad were still together, but it just wasn't to be.
