One

Mable was a 70 year old grandmother who lived with her grandson after his mother died, his father was never in the picture.

"Hi grandma!" Darius said running up to his grandmother.

"HI brownie. How was school?" she said bopping his nose. She was cut off by a little voice.

" Derrière! Mommy said I can stay over at your house this weekend. I just have to go home and get my stuff!" Said Moesha, Darius best friend,

"Where's your mom Mo?" Mable asked

"She's over there flirting with Mr. Williams" she said pointing to her mother and teacher

"Thank you Mo" Mable giggled "you two stay here"

"You got it dude" Mo said giving a big smile and thumbs up.

"Hey Moo" Darius said

"Yeah?"

"Will you marry me?"

"No" she answers too quickly

"Why? Is it because you don't like white boys?"

"You're black you poopy head" he doesn't say anything to her and walks away towards his grandmother causing Mo to follow.

"Gigi Moo won't marry me" he told her tugging on her arm

"You's a snitch you know that?" She said crossing her arms

"Cmon u too go to miss M's car ima drop ur stuff off okay honey!" She said to Mo

"mtay bye mama"

"Bye Mo Mo" she said waving to her as Mo got into the car

*at miss M's house*

"I want this bed" Mo said sitting on the bed

"That's my bed" Darius said crossing his arms

"So you don't love me?" She said pouting

"I never said that"

"Yes you did"

"Ughh how about we share"

"Fine I hope you don't pee" she told him

"Hey Mo ima see you. Remember I love you more than anything" Teresa tells her giving her a long hug with tears filling the rim of her eyes. She walks out without letting Mo respond and walking out of the room.

"Dramatic much. She didn't even say bye to me" he pouted

*later in the kitchen*

"Thank you again for taking her. I really just don't want her to be around her father at the moment" Mos mom, Teressa, said.

"No problem Ressa you can pick her up whenever" she said giving her a hug and walking her out to her car.
