****************** It's perfect for today's weather, I quickly grab my backpack and make my way downstairs. I quickly eat breakfast while waiting for Niko to come down and eat.
"Are you excited?" Asked Dad while he poured me a cup of coffee
"Nervous is a better word." I admitted
"Mi amour, you have your mothers confidence so there is no way that you won't be okay." He reassured me and I can't lie he is right
"If it sucks I'll take you out for ice cream." Said Dad
"I love you dad." I said with a smile and he smiled back at me.
"I love you too Ivy." He said
"Honey, Niko is here are we going to tell them?" Asked dad
Mom came strolling into the kitchen, fully dressed in her work attire. The mafia has been really active lately due to her enjoying her work more. She is such a badass.
"So guys we got you guys a gift. Now I trust you both and know you won't do stupid things...at least I hope. Come over to the front door when you finish your breakfast." Said mom
"Okay mama." We said
We quickly ate breakfast and got to the front door. We both put our shoes on and grabbed our keys. Niko swung the door open and we both stepped out to be greeted by two beautiful motorcycles, I ran over to the one I presumed was mine. It was beautiful.
"Theses are yours. You both have worked really hard and this is your welcome to Italy gifts." Said dad
"Thank you!" We both said
We hugged them and they gave us our keys, we quickly put our backpacks on and helmets. I put my leather jacket on and waved goodbye to them while starting the motorcycle up. Niko and I smiled at one another.
"Ready? I'll race you." Said Niko
"Last to get to school has to train the others new recruits for a month." I said and we both nodded then rode out of the gate.
Before I knew it I was at school, I nearly lost but thankfully I knew a shortcut. We pulled not school and everyone's eyes were on us. We parked our bikes and too our things. Walking side by side with our helmets in hand people kept starring and whispering but we both just grinned at each other with satisfaction.
