03-I knew it

I decided to wake up early and go for a run, I need to clear my head and figure out what to do about Kio. I don't have time for any guy in my life.

My mom says she wants me to take over the mafia of Scar doesn't and I need to make sure I'm just as strong as her if I take it over. I ran for a few miles until I realised it was nearly time for school. I quickly ran back to the house and showered. Everyone was still sleeping when I got back. I hope I can just get Kio to leave me alone.

I quickly got dressed and put on a light layer of make up before tidying up my room. I grabbed one of my books and rushed to the kitchen.

"So are you going to the studio or the base after school?" Asked Niko

"I'm going to the studio because I ran this morning and got some analytical training done last night." I said

"Okay honey, just make sure you have your daggers." Said mom

"Always do. Anyway I've got to go I have to hand in a few notes to my teacher." I said and they nodded

My mom and dad pulled me into a hug and said bye. I quickly got onto my bike and drove to the school. The school was pretty empty when I arrived, I quickly handed in the notes and went to the library. There has to be a spot in this huge library that no one knows about.

I finally found a small, nook on the third floor of the library and settled in there. I opened my book and read it peacefully while drinking my coffee.

Before I knew it class was about to start. The day really flew by. Lunch came by quickly and I found myself sitting between Kio and Gio. I could feel Kio's eyes on me while I spoke to the girls about a party they wanted to take me too. I looked at him and he quickly averted his eyes, he had a soft blush. Cute.

I looked back at the girls and I could see him looking at me again. What does he want?

"Yes?" I asked as I looked at him

"Who gave you that ring?" He said as he pointed to the ring on my finger.

"It's a gift from someone special." I said

"Oh my god that is adorable! Why don't you introduce us to him or her? Well when can we meet the person!" Squealed Andrea

"We can't, his not here anymore." I said I could feel Kio's eyes on me again, I peaked out of the corner of my eye and he looked irritated.

"You should have seen them, they were more inseparable than me and her. It was insane, but he is a good guy, the best in my opinion." Said Niko as he gave me a worried look.

"Oh come on. Anyway so the party where is it?" I asked trying to change the subject.

We spoke for a bit more as they explained that the party was for Jamie's birthday. Apparently it was going to be epic.

School ended quickly and I snuck off to the library. I let Niko know where I was since he wanted to go to the base for training. I settled into my nee secret spot and read my book while listening to music in my earphones.

All of a sudden someone pulled out my earphones and I looked up too see those emerald eyes. Kio!

"Why?" I said with a irritated tone

"It's nearly time for me too take you out love." He said

"Over my dead body." I said as I gathered my things.

"Why not?" He asked as he followed me down the stairs

"Because I'm busy." I said as I quickened my pace.
