Good Girl Gone Bad

10-I hate him.

Mateo made our way into the water with our surf boards, the cold water felt refreshing on my skin. It's been so long since I've surfed, I looked over at Mateo and he was grinning ear-to-ear, I couldn't help but laugh at how goofy he looked.

We caught a few waves and eventually went back to shore once we got tired, we approached the rest of the group and I noticed that Kio was missing.

"Where is Kio?" I asked

"He said he wasn't feeling well so he went back to the house to rest." Said Gio

"I'll go check on him. I'll see you guys later." I said as I grabbed my things

They nodded and threw me the car keys, I rushed off the beach without a second thought. The only thing running through my mind was, is he okay?

I rushed over to the house and made my way straight to his room, he was laying on his bed, asleep. I slowly approached him and sat beside him. He looks so peaceful, his smiling. I wonder what his dreaming about. I watched him sleep and couldn't help but wish that I was wrapped in his arms, I leaned down and planted a kiss on his forehead. Just as I was about to stand up his arms pulled me down and I fell on top of him. I looked up at his face and he was smiling at me, with sleepy eyes. How adorable.

"Just stay in my arms like this for awhile." He said as he pulled me onto his chest

"Okay." I said

We eventually fell asleep, I woke up laying in my embrace and I felt like I was on cloud nine.

"Your awake." He said

"Were you watching me sleep?" I asked

"You were just to adorable and I wanted to keep you in my arms a little longer." He said and then he kissed my forehead

"I'm such a lucky girl." I said with a smile

"I'm the lucky one." He said with a smile

We just laid on the bed and watched a movie while we waited for everyone to get home. Before we knew it everyone returned and we all got ready for the bonfire.

"Baby, where do I put the marshmallows?" Asked Kio

"Just put it on the table outside with the rest of the stuff and baby you can't be calling me that so loudly. What if they hear you." I whispered

"Sorry, I'll be more careful. Baby when are we going to tell them that we're official?" He whispered

"Well I was thinking of announcing it at the bonfire tonight, since I know you are feeling uneasy about Mateo. I'm sure if everyone knows our relationship things will feel better for you." I said

"Okay, I love you." He said as his planted a soft kiss on my temple

He walked out of the kitchen and joined the rest of the group outside, I looked over at everyone and just watched as they laughed and smiled with one another. I joined them and gave everyone their drinks we all sat around the fire while I played guitar and Niko sang. It was perfect.

After awhile of relaxing Kio looked at me and smiled and I nodded. He stood up and grabbed everyone's attention by clearing his throat. Everyone's eyes were on him, I could tell my dads and mom were glaring at him because they had some idea of what he was about to say.

"So everyone now that I have your attention, I have an announcement to make. I hope you will all give us your blessing but Ivy and I have officially started dating." He said with a smile and I smiled back at him.

The entire group gasped and my dads stood up, Niko and Scar joined them. Kio looked a bit nervous but who wouldn't.

"Guys I'm really happy, so please approve." I said as I took his hand in mine

"Fine. But we need to have a talk with him after the bonfire." Said Papa

"Okay, now let's continue making s'mores." I said as we sat back down

I noticed fork the corner of my eye that Mateo left, he was walking on the beach alone. Maybe it's best if I give him some time to cool off or at least to grasp my relationship status. We all sat and enjoyed each other's company for awhile until it officially became Niko and l's birthday. They sang to us and we all went to bed after getting our gifts.

Kio walked me to my room but my dad and papa followed us all the way which made it less romantic and more awkward.

"You two idiots, get back here!" My mom shouted as she pulled them by their ears.

Kio and I started laughing as we watched my mom drag them away while they complained to her. We continued on our way and I got to my room.

"Do you want to come in?" I asked

"I don't think your brothers will appreciate it. I'll come through the balcony and we can sleep together. Just lock your door and I'll lock mine." He whispered into my ear

He kissed me and walked into his room, I followed his instructions and got ready for bed. I heard knocking at the balcony door so I opened it and he walked in. We got into bed and cuddled for awhile, while talking about random things. I loved these small moments, they were what I loved for.

*knock*

*knock*

We both held our breath and froze when we heard the knocks at the door. We looked at each other in shock.

"Hey V, Andrea got her period and your mom is already asleep. Do you have a tampon for her?" Asked Jamie

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Is all my brain could say. Kio quickly ran into the bathroom and grabbed the tampons then ran back into the bathroom to hide. I rushed to the door and opened it.

"Here you go. Tell her we can go to the shops tomorrow and if she needs anymore my mom always puts emergency tampons and pads in the main guest bathroom downstairs, they might be better since their is more size options." I said and he nodded

"Thanks V, I'll tell her. By the way what took you so long?" He asked

"I was falling asleep. I took my sleeping medication so I was drowsy." I said

"Oh makes sense. Well bye and thanks again on behalf of her." He said

I shut the door and locked it, Kio came slowly out of the bathroom and smiled at me, we both softly laughed. He pulled me up into his arms and carried me to the bed, he laid me down and got into bed. We cuddled until we fell asleep.

*knock*
*knock*

"Ivy get up! We have places to be!" Shouted Andrea

"Kio is also still asleep. His room is locked and so is hers." Said Gio

"You think they snuck out or something last night?"Asked Jamie

I quickly swung my door open after Kio climbed back into his room. They all charged into my room and laid on my bed.

"What took you so long?" Asked Andrea as she took clothing out for me.

"I was using the bathroom." I said and they just nodded

"I wonder why Kio's room is locked, maybe he just didn't want to be woken up early." Said Gio

"I'll go get him." I said and they all smiled then nodded

They hid behind my door while watching through a small crack in the door they left open. I knocked on Kio's door and waited fir him to open it. He opened it and his face lit up when he saw me, he pulled me into his arms and hugged me tightly. Then he kissed my forehead and proceeded to hold me while looking down at me with a smile.

"To what do I owe the pleasure of seeing you this early in the morning? I must have done something right." He said as he pulled a piece of my hair behind my ear.

"You make me happy everyday, so this is the least I can do. Now come on we're all in my room deciding our plans." I said and then kissed his cheek while I stood on my tippy toes.
