Me and Ray been on the phone non-stop since he took me to his "happy place" and I was loving every minute of it. I really think I like him now. You know how when you feeling somebody and you just can't stop thinking of them? Like day dreaming what it would be like if y'all was really together? Man that's how I was, in my feelings and shit!
Just then I got a knock at my door. I slipped on my PINK shorts and slippers since I was half naked to answer the door.
To my surprise I opened the door to see Ray. He could not stop staring and it was so awkward.
"Like watcha see?" I said mocking what he said the first time I met him. He snapped out of his trance and smiled. I let him in and he followed me to the kitchen.
"You hungry?" I ask pulling out some Chips Ahoy, he shook his head from side to side and I shrugged.
"Sooo, why ya here?"
"Um, can you and your friend Alexa get dressed and meet me and Drew at my place", he seemed sorta nervous. A smile crept to the corners of my mouth.
"Is this a date you're asking me on Mr.Ray?" I said sarcastically.
He laughed, "wateva you wanna call it ma' , that's a yes?"
I nodded and he turned for the door. I followed him out to his car and leaned in the window, "text me the address?" And then I went for it, kissing him on his lips for a good 10 seconds and turned to walk in the house. I could feel his eyes on me, I knew he liked what he was seeing.

Ray's POV
Damn, Ray shawty gotchu whipped, I thought to myself as I made my way down the block. I picked up the phone and dialed Drew to tell him the good news .
Me: Yo, get dressed. We got dates to go on
Drew:Forreal, that's wassup. I'll be at ya place at 5
Me: Ard coo, see you then
We disconnected and it was about 3 o'clock
Good, I thought I got just enough time to look nice for Maya.
I pulled up to my house and parked the car when I got a call from a private number.
Me: who this yo!?
Person: yo Ray, wassup nigga it's Kam
Me: oh my bad bro wassup
Kam: I gotta job for you man, bigger than watchu used to but pays well
Me:how much we talking?
Kam: 10k man! All you gotta do is came get the "stuff" from the trap and drop it off to our biggest customer, Mot
I heard about him before, he well known in these streets.
Me: I don't know man, I heard he bad news
Kam: cmon man atleast think about it
Me: yea, yea I'll think about it.
We hung up and I really had this on my mind, I'm not tryna have a record before I even make it to the NBA. I just shook it off and headed to my room to take a shower.
When I got out, I dried off and looked through my closet. I pulled out my tan and red plaid Burberry shirt with black trues.
Black Timbs or Tan Timbs? I thought to myself
"Tan" I said to myself and pulled them on after slipping on my socks. I brushed my waves and sprayed on Ralph Lauren Cologne. Took a look in the mirror and I felt like a million bucks, which only made me think about that job even more..
I texted Maya the address and then went to open the door for Drew.

Maya's POV
"Yo,hurry up!" I yelled to Alexa from my bedroom, she was taking forever in that damn bathroom.
"I'm coming, I'm coming" she exited the bathroom and did a spin.
"You look cute" I said Checking out her outfit, she was wearing ombre pink shorts and a white t-shirt with her crazy, curly honey blonde hair natural, it was always better like that to me, and all white low top converses.
"Don't look too bad yaself " she said while examining my outfit. I wore the same thing as her except I had purple ombre shorts and my hair had just got tossed at the dominicans.
"Well, you was the one who said we should wear the same thing". We both laughed at her clever idea and then left for the car. By now it was 4:30 and I was dumb happy to could out with Ray, especially while I was with my bestie.
"So you sure he cute" asked Alexa referring to Drew.
"I told you he was, you know when we saw him playing basketball the other day?" I said starting to drive down the street, "the one who had his shirt off".
"Ohh the lightskin guy with the curly top and 6 pack?!" I nodded and she screamed, " girl he was soo cute". I laughed out loud and then turned on the radio so me and Alexa could sing, something we love to do together.
When we got to the address Ray sent me, we saw Drew and Ray standing outside. They walked up to the car, "who whip we taking?" I Asked.
"Yours, if you don't mind" said Ray. I nodded and got out the car so we could switch places cause I ain't feel like driving. After we were situated we got on the road and I could see Alexa and Drew really hitting it off in the rear view mirror. Atleast one of us is having fun, I thought to myself as I shifted in my seat. He stopped the car and we got out to see where we were. The carnival! I loovvee carnivals. We walked in and immediately was greeted by the smell of popcorn and the sound of cotton candy machines, it was perfect. Alexa and Drew had already walked off together so it was just me and Ray. He wrapped his arm around my neck and we began to walk.
"Where house tryna go first?" He asked
"I dunno, the ferris wheel I guess"
We walked over to the Ferris wheel and there was barely a line so we got right on. Once we reached the top you could see almost all of south philly and it was just such an amazing view.
"So, what kinda dancing you do" asked Ray snapping me out of my daze.
"Oh, uh ballet and hip-hop mostly"
"Where do you dance at?"
"The South Philadelphia School of Dance, right there" I said pointing down at an area on the ground. He nodded, "any shows coming up?"
"Actually yes, one is this Friday at the Mann " I said while smiling.
He nodded again, "cool, I'll be there" and then he kissed me, right there at the top of the Ferris wheel. I wish there was some kind of picture cause it probably would've been really cute!
Once we got off I wanted cotton candy and funnel cake soo badly. We walked over to the concession stands and I got blue cotton candy and funnel cake with extra powdered sugar. I probably looked all fat but I didn't care. Once we finished eating we went to find Alexa and Drew so we could get on some rides together. By the end of the day when we were back home I was so happy and I could not wait to dream about Ray, been dreaming about him since the mall! Man I know I only knew him for a little while but I think I really like him.
"Yo" said Ray snapping me out of my daze.
"Huh?"
"I said, did you have fun? "
"Oh, uhm yea. I had a whole lot of fun" I said smiling. I tried closing the door but then he put his foot in the door and opened it back up. I looked it him like I was confused and then he wrapped his hands around my little waist and kissed me.
