After Joceline dealt the last blow to Matthew, having won their game of Go Fish, they both just sat awkwardly on the bottom bunk, trying to find something to do now.

"What now?"

They had been staring at each other for a while, with the realization making them both look away. The cards before them were forgotten about, Matthew quietly tucking them back into their case as Joceline awkwardly twirled at her hair.

"Do you uh... want to play a horror game?"

"Horror game," he murmured, shuddering at the thought. For some reason, that didn't sit too well in his head. "No, no thank you. What else?"

"Uh..." Joceline shrugged. "Should we just... get back to work?"

"I guess so."

"Alright..." She shifted over to her laptop, which was at her side, and promptly went back to work. "Thanks for the game."

"Any time." Matthew got up, bumping his head against the top bunk. While Joceline found it funny, she withheld her laughter as he walked off to the couch again and got back to whatever it was he did. So passed another boring afternoon, much to both of their displeasure.

Matthew had gone out with a "friend," and so Joceline was stuck at home alone, the music playing on his speaker that she borrowed. It was a good change for her, since she could finally focus on things.

That was at least until the text came over.

The texting was a nice return to the past, but Joceline was quickly reminded of the work in front of her. She would miss the long and weird talks with Matt, but he was literally living with her now. That would hopefully give them enough time to interact.
