"Hey Lea." I said as I entered my building

"Hi Ms. Holland." Lea replied "Benjamin will be here in any minute, he just called saying he's on his way." She informed and I nodded

"Thank you Lea." I said with a smile "You look great today."

"Someone's happy, I see." She smiled "Thank you, so do you."

I entered my office and went to seat at my desk. I took out my notebook and read the notes I did for Benjamin in the last session, I re-read them and searched for more information on 'Social Anxiety' I heard a knock on the door and before I could answer, the door swung open

"Something really excited happened." Benjamin said as he entered the door "I went to a party, and I was like sitting really far from the others because I didn't want to talk to them. And then this pretty girl comes with me and she talked to me."

"Hello to you too." I teased with a smile "You met someone?" He nodded "That is wonderful Benjamin."

"Ben, just Ben" He said and I nodded

"Okay, Just Ben." I said and he rolled his eyes with a smile "Why don't you take a seat so we can start our session." He sat on the couch and I sat on my usual chair "Okay, I figured out what type of anxiety you have." I started and he frowned "You have social anxiety, that explains why you feel small with people you don't know." He nodded and I continued "I will explain to you what social anxiety is, okay?" He nodded again "Okay, people with social anxiety are fearful or anxious about certain social situations due to a fear of negative judgment, embarrassment, or rejection. I think you feel like getting judged when you are with other people, that's why you feel small." I heard my phone dinging but I ignored it since I was in session with Ben

"Yeah, I think that's why I don't like to be around people I don't know." He said and I nodded

"Okay, now that we know your type of anxiety, we can continue to have a more specific treatment." I said "But for now," I smirked "Tell me about the girl and what happened."

He smiled "Right, so, I was on this party with Via and Jacob." He started "And Via was talking with some of her friends and I was talking to Jacob since he was the only other person that I knew on the so called party, so um, I was talking to him but then more people arrived so I went to another seat that was really far from them." He said "Jacob asked me if I wanted for him to come with me and I politely declined his offer. I went to seat and I started playing with my phone."

"What were you playing?" I asked

"I was playing a sudoku game, it's really entertaining."

"That's really nerdy." I said

"Shh I'm telling story." He said and I nodded with a smile for him to continue "So, I was playing and then someone sat on the table with me, but I really ignored them since they didn't really speak to me, I just assumed they were just there to relax or something. But then I heard a sweet voice calling my name, I looked up and it was her, at first I was surprised that she knew who I was, but then she explained that she asked Jacob for my name, which surprised me even more."

I smirked "You catched her eye."

"That's what Via told me!" He exclaimed "I think she just want to be friends though. She gave me her phone number."

"Well, that's really good Ben." I smiled at him "Have you texted her yet?"

"I did." He said proudly "We were talking for a while until I told her I needed to come here."
