"About damn time." Z went to hug me "What took you so long?"

"Traffic." I said when I pulled our from the hug "Where's Tom?" Z shrugged and I frowned "He didn't told you were he went?" She shook her head "Weird. Let me text him."

"So, he said he's on a meeting." I informed "And that he will call me when the meeting is over."

"Cool, I guess." Z said not looking up from her phone "Y/N?" I hummed "There's gonna be a Marvel party, and I wanted to ask you if you wanted to come as my date. I don't really have anyone else to go with." She looked at me when I didn't said nothing "We are going as friends, of course."

"Ah, yes, I know." I said "We've been best friends since we met so I guess it would be weird if we dated." She nodded "And about the party, yeah, I would love to go with you." I smiled

"Great." She smiled back "It's going to be nothing formal so feel free to wear whatever you want. It's on Saturday."

"Tomorrow?" I asked

She looked at me confused "What?"

"Yes, tomorrow. Today is Friday."

"Oh well then, yes, tomorrow." She said and I nodded "If you want me to, I can pick you up at your house."

"That would be wonderful." I smiled "Um, I should get going. I have an appointment with a new pacient."

"Yup, I'll pick you up tomorrow at 6." Z said and I nodded

I said my goodbyes and I made my way to my car. I stopped in a Starbucks to buy me a drink and a croissant since I was a little bit hungry and when I continued my track I heard my phone buzzing

"Hello?" I said when I picked the phone

"Y/N I just got home, where are you?" I heard Tom's voice in the other line

I took a bite from my croissant "I'm heading to my office, I have an appointment."

"Why do you call it office? That is not an office."

"What should I call it? Room with a desk and two couches?"

"I don't know." Tom said "Anyway, I guess I'll be seeing you tomorrow at the party."
