It had been around 4 months, by Frost's count, of being in the facility. It wasn't bad. He nor his friends had gone in since he'd been here. Brook thought it was odd since she usually went for testing a couple times every 2 months, but hadn't been tested in a while.

Frost woke up for another boring day in the cell, still thinking of course. Was interrupted when Jax came to his cell.

"Hey, your friend, the lynx kid. Went for testing this morning."

"What? Why?" He asked and got on edge.

"No idea, but Kioga notified me when they went in. I wanted you to know since I knew you were friends."

"Yea, thanks." He said, while his mind raced.

"I'll be back in a bit." Jax said, walking away from his cell door.

'Will it happen?'

Carnivorous hybrids have the hardest time in the testing rooms. He would know. He's been through a couple of them, and they've all been hell. Not at this facility of course. He's been to others that are scattered around the country. None of them held him very long. Not enough security and not enough walls to keep him inside.

That's why he'd been on the run in the first place. Because he escaped other facilities, and this one wasn't that different from the other ones.

Jax picked him up and took him to the cafeteria like usual, but this time, it was without Bee.

He walked over to the normal table, where everyone was seated.

"-do you know why you haven't been to testing yet?" Kylie asked Brook as she ate.

"I honestly have no idea." Brook replied, "I have suspicions, but I don't know for sure."

"Hey, Frost. Where's Bee?" Rheanne asked the hybrid whose face was tilted towards the floor.

"They're in testing, Jax told me a couple hours ago."

They all were surprised. Why Bee and not Brook first? She'd been here longer, I guess they know how she acts towards testing trials?

"It'll be tough, I could already tell because of their personality." Frost said.

"Wait, how do you know it's going to be tough for them?" Brook said in confusion. How did a hybrid, who's never been at a facility, know that it's tough for carnivore hybrid testing?

"Cause I've gone through testing before, each one resulting in some guard taking me to a different cell with a piece of prey from my carnivore side. I didn't do anything, so they eventually let me go back to my cell. Longest I've stayed in that little cell was up to 3.5 weeks. It is also why I can withstand so many tranq darts without falling over."

"You've been to other facilities?" Rheanne and Kaylyn said in sync.

"Indeed. Multiple in fact. I've escaped them. That's why I was on the run and that's why they found me so quick. Because they know how I think, they know how I maneuver around the place. And also why during that security malfunction, there were so many guards around my cell. Also probably why they were mostly holding tasers instead of tranq darts."

'Damn.' Brook and Kylie thought.

"Do you have any proof that you've been to other facilities? Just wondering so you know." Kaylyn asked while taking more food into her mouth.

"I have scars on my back from punishments. Scars around the underside of my wings and scars on my upper arms from blood draws." He said, stretching his wings a bit to show cut scars on the underside. Then lifted his sleeve up to show scars from the blood draws, and lifted the back of his shirt up a bit to show whipped scars from beatings by guards.
