i don't know what's up with ricky lately

i haven't had a girls day in a while.

so i decided to go shopping with kourt and gina today.

"hey i heard isabel's having a party tonight. you coming?" gina asked as we were looking through makeup.

"i haven't been to a party in a while. sure." i say.

"you never go to parties. wait, we need to buy some outfits then!" gina says turning to me exitedly. she loves makeovers.

"ugh fine. kourt are you coming?" i ask turning to kourtney.

"um of course i am!" she says exitedly.

"great nini let's find you a dress" gina says as she pulls me towards the dresses.

gina starts looking through dresses as i walk over to the accesories.

when i ran into....

ricky?

"hey ricky" i say giving my best friend a hug.

"hey didn't think i'd see you here" he says releasing the hug his hands still on my waist, mine still around his neck.

"well i should get going" he says as he breaks the silence and lets go of me.

"um yeah" i say awkwardly as i let go as well.

that was so weird.

as i'm processing what just happened, gina comes up to me and shows me a dress.

"omg this would fit you perfectly!" she says shoving the dress in my face

"that isn't something i would ever wear" i say turning the dress down.

"you're just self concious. c'mon pleaaaaseeeee!" she says with puppy dog eyes.

you can't say no to puppy dog eyes.

"alright fine" i say as i roll my eyes and take the dress.

ok. i actually kind of look good.

"omg you look absolutely stunning!" kourt says as i get in the backseat of the car.

"yeah 100%!" gina agrees.

as we're on our way to pick up seb and carlos, i get a text.

can you guess who it's from?

"hey nin's"

"hey rickster"

"whatcha doin?"

"we're on our way to pick seb and carlos up then we're going to isabel's party"

"wait you're going?"

"uh yeah why?"

"it's just you never go to parties."

"well i am"

"just don't get drunk or anything"

"what are you my mom now?"

"no but i am your brother ;)"

"whatever maybe i will maybe i won't ;)"

"i have my eyes on you 👀"

all of a sudden i hear the car door open and see carlos and seb getting in.

"wow you look so hot every guy is gonna be hitting on you!" carlos says, knowing very well that it will annoy the crap out of me.

"shut up!" i say as i hit him playfully.

"well i mean it's true" kourt says.

i just rolled my eyes.

when i got there, gina pulled me towards the alchohal.

of course.

"c'mon drink with us" she said as she pours herself a cup of. whatever that is.

"i want to at least remember a little of tonight. let's just enjoy the party for a bit." i say, dumping the drinks down the drain.

"ugh fine" she says rolling her eyes.

"hey nin's" i hear from behind me.

"hey rickster" i say turning to him.

"we were gonna go play seven minutes in heaven in the basement if you wanna come?" he says looking at gina.

"i will!" i say excitedly. i don't really go to parties often so it's always nice to step outside of my comfort zone.

"i was asking gina" he says looking down at me.

"well i'm coming too" i say as i walk away with gina.

he grabs my arm and pulls me back.

excuse me what is his problem?

"wait so first you show up in that outfit and now this?" he says, still having a tight grip on my arm.

"oh so now you think i'm a slut!?" i say.

"that's not what i meant nini i-" he starts to say as i cut him off.

"stop trying to control my life ricky!" i say as i pull out of his grip.

he stares at me in silence for a few seconds.

"let's go gina" i say as i turn around and go to the basement with gina.

i don't know what's up with ricky lately.
