Hello Trouble

"Alright, boys, Hongjoong and I are leaving for parent teacher conferences now. Yunho and Yeosang are in charge while we are gone."

"Yah, San and Mingi, are you listening to what Seonghwa hyung is saying?" Hongjoong asks the twins. He noticed they did their handshake at the mention of them leaving.

"Of course, hyung." Mingi says, giving Hongjoong an innocent look.

"Yeah? What did I say? " Seonghwa asks.

"Uh, Yunho hyung and Sangie hyung are in charge."

"Yes. And as usual, they have our permission to doll out a few smacks if you're not listening." At the mention of this, Jongho steps away from Yeosang's side and covers his bottom. "I don't want smacks."

"Buddy, you haven't done anything to deserve any smacks right now." Yeosang says, pulling him back in front of him and hugging him from behind. Jongho immediately leans into the hug.

"Ok, if you need us, call. Emergency numbers are on the fridge. There's some fruit cut up in the fridge for a snack, and you can make ramen for dinner. No sugar." Seonghwa says this last part while looking at Jongho. That boy has the biggest sweet tooth.

"Hyungs go. You'll be late. Sangie and I got this. Don't worry. We've taken care of things plenty of times."

"I know, I know. Ok, I love you all. We'll be home by 8 pm."

Hongjoong and Seonghwa hug the boys goodbye and walk out the door.

"Ok, Yeosang and I will be in the living room watching tv if you need us."

"Wooyoung, let's build a fort!"

"Ok! We can build it off the bunkbed. Let's make it a pirate ship!"

"Yeah!" The two youngest run upstairs.

"Hey Mingi?"

"Yeah?"

"Wanna go surfing?"

Mingi gives San a questioning look. "What? San, we live nowhere near the ocean."

San roles his eyes at his twin. "No, you idiot. I mean matress surfing! Remember when we used to do that?"

"Oh yeah! But we got in big trouble because it's apparently not safe." Mingi puts air quotes around the words not safe.

"Yeah, but Hongjoong hyung and Seonghwa hyung aren't home. So we can do what we want. They won't know."

"Yeah. That's true. Ok, let's do it!"

The two run upstairs to grab their matressess before heading to the top of the stairs. They took turns going down and had a competition who could last the longest standing before falling on their butts. After a little while, they decided to go down together on the same matress.

Yeosang and Yunho were watching their favorite reality show when they realized they hadn't heard anything from their brothers in over an hour.

"I'm going to check on the others. It's far too quiet, and it's making me anxious." Yeosang says, pausing the tv show. Right as he stood up, they heard a crashing noise and then some frantic loud whispering.

"Crap! Quick put the matresses back. I'll pick up the books."

Hearing the frantic whispering and mention of matresses, Yunho stands up as well to see what the boys have gotten themselves into.

Yeosang and Yunho walk over to the stairs, where they heard the crash and frantic whispering coming from. They see Mingi trying to pull two matresses up the stairs while San is picking up some books.
