"Yeosang, come on, buddy, it's time to wake up." Seonghwa said, shaking the boy gently to wake him up. "We have to leave in half an hour for your appointment."

"I don't wanna go. I don't need any help, hyung." Yeosang replied, shrugging Seonghwa's hands off him.

"I'm sorry, buddy, but you do need some help in school. You're failing your classes. I don't want you to have to repeat the 7th grade."

Yeosang sighed, knowing that his hyung was right. "Fine." He slowly climbed out of bed, grabbing his clothes he made his way to the bathroom to get ready to go.

"When you're ready to go come down for breakfast, I think Hongjoong made pancakes."

"Ok, hyung."

Once the bathroom door closed, Seonghwa headed downstairs and joined the others at the table.

"Is Yeosang up and ready to go?" Hongjoong asked while he poured some syrup on Jongho's pancakes.

"More!" Jongho said, reaching for the syrup bottle.

"No, Jongho, you have enough syrup. You don't need it anymore." Hongjoong said, bringing the syrup bottle away and out of Jongho's reach.

"Yeah, he should be down in a minute."

Just then, Yeosang walked into the kitchen, and taking his seat, he grabbed some pancakes.

"How are you doing, Yeosang?" Hongjoong asked.

"I'm ok, I guess. I'm just nervous about these tests. What if they say I'm not smart enough to pass 7th grade?"

"Park Wooyoung!" Seonghwa calls halting the conversation between Hongjoong and Yeosang. "Why are you pouring more syrup on Jongho's pancakes after Hongjoong just told him he could not have more?" Seonghwa asked sternly, taking the bottle of syrup from the boys' hands.

"Cuz Jongho wanted more, so I helpin' him."

"He was just told he can not have anymore. It is not ok for you to undermine what your hyung's say."

"What's unmind?"

"The word is undermined, and it means if we tell Jongho, for example, that he can not have more syrup and you decide that he can, you just undermined our authority. That is not ok. We are the adults. If we say no, you do not get to decide it is allowed."

"Oh ok, hyung."

"Wooyoung, you and I already need to have a conversation this morning about your behavior in school. You do not want to add more to that conversation. Now Yeosang, that is nonesense! You are very smart. These tests aren't to see how smart you are. They are to see what might be causing some of your struggles in school. It does not in any way make you less smart."

"I guess."

"No, no, I guess. It is facts, Yeosang. Please stop thinking of yourself as stupid. All that will change is we will know how to help and accommodate you, so classes won't be as much of a struggle for you."

"Ok, hyung. I understand." Once he finished his pancakes, he brought his plate to the sink.

"Alright, Yeosang, go grab your shoes and jacket. Then we need to get going."

"Ok, hyung."

"While you take him for the tests, I'll talk to Wooyoung about his behavior in class."

"Sounds good." Seonghwa got up from his chair and grabbed the car keys from the hook on the wall and headed out, Yeosang following behind him. Once the two had left, Hongjoong turned to his oldest dongsaeng.
