Gaara's POV
It was night time, 8 days till the chunin exam, all I hope is that Y/N is there... better is that she is a ninja and doing the exam too. When Baki, Temari, and Kankuro woke up, we continued to head to the Hidden Leaf Village; actually, we weren't really participating in the exam, we are just getting there to destroy the Leaf, because it was the Kazekage order. When we got to the leaf, I decided to look for Y/N but with this much people, I just don't think it'll be possible, I just need to hope I bump into her sometimes later.
Y/N's POV
We have just came back from our mission, and it seems like a box or 'rock' was following Naruto, then poof. Out came out three kids introducing themselves all fancy and calling Naruto Boss/Master and rivals. The three kids ask Naruto to play ninja with them, then Sakura came in and made a fuss.
I just jumped back on the wooden fence not wanting to get involve in this kind of stuff, Konohamaru then started to run away from Sakura but accidently bumped into a painted face guy wearing a hoodie. I just had a feeling that I should just keep low profile and watch to see what happens, of course I was planning to jump out if anything was too extreme.
When I saw Sasuke face, I knew it said 'When did he get here, I didn't even notice', his face said it all. I don't think Sasuke notice I was still here or the red head boy, well it doesn't matter, the dirty blonde and painted face seem to be scared of him... Dirty blonde? Red head? They look familiar to someone... Nah, I'm just imagining stuff. After Sasuke and the boy who looks like my childhood friend got off the tree I decided to say something I was still on the fence while doing this by the way.
"Sup, your new to the village and already making rivals huh?", I said while staring at them. Their eyes seem to be wide open when they saw me.
"HUH!? You were there the whole time and decided to not help us" Naruto shouted.
"Sorry, sorry, I didn't want to get my hands dirty", I replied to them.
"Whole time?" Sasuke questioned
"Well yeah, I jumped onto the fence because I knew Sakura and the other kids would run around and didn't want to be in the way. When the kid bumped into the painted face guy I looked up to the tree 'cause I scent people and saw you and the red hair boy. I thought you notice so I didn't bother telling you but then I saw your face and yeah. That's it." I explained quickly of what I did.
The dirty blonde, painted face, and red head started walking away then Sasuke called them.
"Hey you, what is your name?" Sasuke asked
They all turned around and the dirty blonde went like, "Who, me?" then started to blush.
Sasuke then shot back "No, the one with the gourd".
"I'm Gaara of the desert, and I'm interested in your name and the masked girl too"
Gaara's POV
I asked them what their names were, I guess it was normal since they asked for my name.
"Sasuke, Sasuke Uchiha", he replied.
An Uchiha huh? It would be fun to fight him, how about the masked girl, she is not telling me her name, her eyes and hair kind of looks lik-... No, no, no, no, it can't be her, why would she cover her face for.
"Hey you, what is your name?" I told her staring at her, but she just stared back which made my blood boil, I would kill anyone who does that to me but I'll ruin our plan.
Temari's POV
I can't believe it, that girl is staring at Gaara like that, I just hope Gaara doesn't do anything to ruin our plan.
Y/N's POV
What is this? A staring contest? Man, give me a break. "Not telling you" I shot out to break the silence. "What!?" he said. Now he sound angry, well I don't really care about that but my friends, I don't want them to get hurt. I looked at him and realised there was a tail beast inside of him, I wasn't focus on that at all, but now I just realised that. "Well, what are you guys doing here anyway?" Sakura broke through. The dirty blonde sighed and started explaining about the chunin exam and showed the paper thingy (Sorry, I don't know what it was called). They all went to fine then that 'Gaara' kept on staring at me, my mind is just like please don't do anything to me. "Hey, how about me? I think you want to know my name too." Naruto blurted out. "I am not interest", red head said. Then remember Naruto had a beast within him too, maybe they could get along together.
"Hey, um Gaara..." I was talking, I didn't want to though.
"What" he said in an angry tone, now I do not want to speak to him, it's to awkward.
"Um... Maybe you would want to know blondie over there..." I told him.
"Why would I want to do that!" he shouted at me.
"He's kinda like you"
"Like me? Would you explain plain?" he looks so done with me right now
I had a glance over to Sakura, Sasuke, Naruto, and the kids, Naruto now knew about the Nine but the others don't, I don't want him to loose friend.
I then glanced back at Gaara and said "I can't say it now"
The sand people then started to walk away when I finished.
"What were you about to say?" Sakura asked me
"Oh, it's nothing, don't worry about it" I said emotionless
Gaara's POV
Who does that girl think she is? Staring at me like that, I should've killed her then. Ugh, this is so annoying, her eyes and hair also reminds me off her... What does she means by that blonde hair is kind of like me, does she know who I am.
Y/N's POV
We, Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura and I went to the bridge to see Kakashi-sensei, surprisingly, Kakashi-sensei got lost or something, so we had to wait. When Kakashi-sensei got here, Naruto and Sakura started yelling at him, after that he told us that he want us to participate in the chunin exam and it was our decision. After that we left to think about or decision. I went to my secret training place after getting the paper, I stuck the paper inside some water proof bag so I can get to my secret training place without ruining it. First there is like a lake or pond, I would surround a bubble around me so I could breath and not get wet, I have to swim down there like 35 meters to find a cave. I would have to swim in the cave and it goes in and up, when I got out of the water I had to go through a tunnel which leads me to a training grounds. It was pretty big down here, there were some cracks that the sun shines through, but normal people won't notice the crack. I would go here to clear my mind or train, I stayed here most of the time when I am in the Leaf. I was practicing my jutsu when I heard some people talking and decided to hide my chakra so they won't find me and eavesdrop. It was epic when I heard what they were talking about, it was about...
