*suicidal thoughts*
Three weeks before the trial
It wasn't long before you started to become skinny to the point where you can see your ribs. You spent the next few weeks in your prison cell, pondering your fate. Life in the prison was borderline impossible. Prisoners became sick very easily spreading illness, the cold made you shiver all the time, you were being put to work in coal mines, and you were barely being fed while the guards were being absolute douchebags and eating right in front of you along with other prisoners.
The coal mines were absolutely miserable. You got coal dust all over your face and hands, you been inhaled some which made you breathing worse and the high altitude didn't help either. Your hands were cold from it snowing in the mountains, you honestly thought of killing yourself a couple times and even attempted by cutting yourself. But you had to stay strong before the trail. There's even a saying about a parent outliving their child "no parent should watch their child die." So You tried your best to stay alive.
If you were lucky you were given free time and you would spend it by trying to warm yourself up on your bed. You would think to yourself a lot, will your parents kill you if your guilty, will you meet your other sisters before you die? At least you were able to meet Rya, you wish you could be next to her, you hate it admit it but you started to yearn to be in her stomach, it was gross and slimy but it was warm and soft, which is something you definitely need right now.
It broke your heart that this was happening to you and your family. You wonder how your other sisters will feel if they never met you. You just hope you can find a way out of this. Of course, just because you were in solitary confinement, Talana and Ryuga was pissed at you, doesn't mean they were cruel, maybe they might have some sympathy.
You could barely sleep most nights, mostly because it was cold but as the trial came closer and closer each day, you became terrified of the possibility of being guilty and how much your death will hurt. Sometimes you think how your mother and father feel, especially your sister, clearly it was hurting them more than it was hurting you. You dreaded what would happen if you're found guilty. Talana said the punishment was death, but how would it be carried out? Would you be crushed? Eaten? Or maybe be burned to death. You shuddered at either thought.
Day before the trial
The day before the trial, the door to your cell was opened and you were told your lawyer and your sister were coming to visit you. The guards dragged your frail body down the cold prison floor. Your feet covered in dirt and cuts. At this point you were wondering if your dying body would give out before the trail as your health was clearly deteriorating.
You were brought into a room with a box like cage to prevent you from getting out. You saw your lawyer which was a male anthro wolf. He was dressed in a black and gold himation.
He greeted you and shakes your hand despite it looking disgusting. You both sit on a chair, facing each other.
"Hello Y/N." He says
"My name is Beck. I am your arbiter during your trial."
"Arbiter?" You say in confusion.
"Yes I will be be defending you, and hopefully if you are guilty, your sentence will be lighter." Beck says.
He sat down with his legs crossed in front of you. "So can you tell me where you were before you were accused?" Beck said.
You think long and hard of what you were doing at school. "Well, I remembered I was in my teachers room when she explained to me about my parents past..... And then two palace guards came out of nowhere and detained me." You said in anger.
That part was at least true but there was something that still makes you a suspect. It was that damn letter.
"Well looking from the report, in a letter, you along with another women were planning to overthrow the king and queen to rule the kingdom for your selves." Beck said.
"That's BS! I would never want to kill my mother and father just to rule the kingdom. Heck I don't think I'm cut out to rule an entire kingdom. Someone is obviously framing me." You said.
"I know, I believe you but the evidence is clear, the letter was written in your hand writing." Beck says.
"But I didn't." You say in dispar
Beck looks at you with sadness before he starts frantically looking through the file. "Oh from here it says students have spotted you going on small hikes, could that be linked to the accusation?" Beck says.
This unlocked a memory that could help you with your trial. "Well yes I have been going on small walks, usually by myself and sometimes with friends. But there was this one walk, it was out in the forest and I remember I felt really tired and drowsy. Before I could get back to my dorm I blacked out and I don't remember anything after that other than waking up on my bed." You said.
"Hmm there's not enough evidence or proof to show your actually innocent." Beck says.
Beck leans closer and lowers his voice.
"My prince, this is just a theory, but there's a conspiracy against you." Beck says.
"I knew it! But why would they do this do me?" You said.
"When I was walking around I overheard a group of females talking about a plan to have you executed, and it was working. They said you were a vermin that should of died a long time ago. The entire kingdom knows of your trial, and they're planning to have you killed in the worst way possible. Even worse your mother Talana will be the one do it. We do have a judge that determines your fate but the queen is also the judge, jury and executioner along with your sister Rya." Beck said.
You are suddenly filled with absolute anger and rage. "When I get out of this I'll make sure they wish they were never born!"
"That's the problem." Beck said.
"Im not sure if you will get out of this alive. You basically committed the worse crime and what's even worse the evidence against you is really strong." Beck said realistically.
"But I do have a plan to save you." Beck said.
"How?" You said.
"I got ahold of your sister Rya and were planning to get you out of here and bring you to the country side." Beck said.
"No I can't do that, that's the cowards way out. I can't leave my sisters behind, plus I havent even meet my other two sisters." You said.
"Ok if that's what you want then I'll tell Rya to find the people who accused you to confess. But it's only a matter of time until the trial starts." Beck says.
