After spending two weeks in Rya's gut healing from your almost fatal wounds, your skin returned to its normal color and you don't have to wear any more bandages. She kept her promise just like she said "you'll look fresh and new in a blink of an eye."  There were some red spots on your skin which made it sensitive to sunlight so she made a black robe that covers your entire body. You can only take it off when there is no sunlight present or at night.

You wake up in the morning to the sound of the rain. The sun was nowhere to be seen. The darkness of the clouds made it look depressing outside but you liked it. There was a dark blue hue to the sky as it was still early but you were up anyway.

You got off your bed and walked out onto the balcony to feel the rain. The seasons were starting to change because you now noticed the rain was colder than usual along with the temperature. You walk back and put on your robe for some warmth.

You heard a knock on your door.

"Come in."

You saw the door open and for the first time it wasn't Rya come in to check in on you. You didn't mind when she did but she would do it every 2 hours, that showed she was being clingy but you can see why.

This time it was Kadara. She opened the door and slowly brought her head in along with her body.  You finally got a good look at her. Her scales were crimson red. She was almost just as big as Rya but a little bit smaller, still big for a dragon though.

Her stature gave off a vibe that says "don't fuck with me" and her yellow eyes pierced through your soul. You didn't know her as well as Rya even though she is your big sister, so with her looming over you, made you feel uneasy.

You both stared at each other, making it more Awkward the longer you both do it until she decided to break the silence.

"So....um Y/N. I'm sure you know my name now but it's finally nice to meet you."

"Uhh.....it's nice to meet you too.....sorry I'm just not used to being close to another dragon other than Rya."

"It's okay I can't blame you for having trust issues, but now I figured it was time for us to bond as brother and sister."

"How did Rya agree to this since she's very overprotective of me?"

"We both came into an agreement that we can both have turns spending time with you."

"Also....."

Just when Kadara was about to finish her sentence someone opens the door to your room. You immediately froze in fear of who entered your room. This was the very person who gave and almost took your life away.

It was your mother Talana.

Once she fully entered the room, you quickly ran behind Kadara's legs and begged her to protect you from Talana while you hid your eyes on her legs and cried out of fear.

Kadara's protective instincts kicked in and she had her wings cover you from Talana while she spoke to her.

"Mother I think it's best if you leave the room now. Y/N is not quite ready to see you again."

"But I just want to see him...I haven't seen my baby in over a month."

"I know how much you missed him but have you considered how much you've hurt him. You nearly killed him. Think about it mother, you nearly killed your child because someone tried to frame him. Why would Y/N throw away everything you have given to him? Did you not hear his begs for mercy and forgiveness. Did you not see the fear and betrayal in his eyes?"

"I...I...I just want to hug him to let him know that I'm sorry and he's safe."

"Mother as much as I hate to say it but I think you should go. Look how Y/N is scared of you. I hate seeing him this way, it makes me feel sick and I'm sure you feel the same too. So I'm begging you, just please leave us alone so Y/N can still recover. He's still recovering emotionally and physically."

Talana stands at the entrance staring at Kadara with sadness in her eyes. Her eyes were flowing with tears. She knows the very close trust and the bond she had with you was destroyed.

"Ok. I understand"

Talana leaves and closes the door.

"Is she gone?"

"Yes my dear, she's gone. You're safe to come out now."

"I don't want to come out. I feel safer when I'm with you."

Kadara couldn't hold back a smile from this wholesome scene you're creating so to return the favor she hugged you back. For the rest of the day Kadara would continue to comfort you while Talana was doing things to make sure her depression doesn't get to her.
