"Hey, dahye!"
"Dahye."
"Whats up dahye"
"Hye!"
Dahye smiled as she greeted everyone, mentally cursing at herself for being almost 30 minutes late to class on the first day. I really hope Mark pulled through. She thought while walking into the classroom at the same time.
Upon her entrance, she was greeted with the many eyes of her other classmates. She quickly scanned the room looking for Mark and rushing to sit in the seat he saved for her. "So much for stalling the professor." she whispered, meeting her friend's eyes.
Mark rolled his eyes playfully before replying, "Well, if you weren't hanging out with that super senior you'd be on time."
"He's not super senior, he's a regular senior and your teammate. Plus it's not like we're together anyway. Neither of us want the commitment." Dahye concluded with a confident smile.
"Which is why you shouldn't hang out with him, you know he sleeps around a lot, and he's not even all that great at football anyway, plus he probably wants an excuse to stare at your ass while you cheer at his games."
Mark was honestly concerned for his friend and wanted her to find genuine relationships but that wasn't the case for dahye.
She was so used to receiving all this attention she couldn't tell if anyone was genuine or not. Pushing those thoughts aside she didn't mind just messing around a little bit, especially with the athletes. It was college after all.
Dahye laughed before responding. "Let's be honest, most guys stare at my ass anyway." she glanced at their professor to make sure they weren't being too loud before widening her eyes. "Bro, you didn't tell me our professor was park seojoon hes so-"
"Don't even finish that sentence, all the girls have been making googly eyes at him since he walked in. like i'm right here, im hot too." Mark shook his head not understanding why everyone found him so attractive.
"Dahye, Mark." their professor called out trying to garner the attention of the two back to the lesson.
Mumbling incoherently the two turned back to pay attention, dahye leaning her head on her palms while mark doodled randomly in his notebook.
As class came to an end, Dahye stood up waiting for mark. "So, how has practice been mister basketball captain, any new freshmen?"
Mark raised an eyebrow at the girl as they left the building together to head to their next class. "Bro, it's been so annoying but yes there are a few freshmen."
Dahye's ears perked up suddenly, becoming excited. New basketball players meant new guys who didn't know who she was but who she was kidding, she was the cheer co captain that drew attention every time she entered a room.
"-don't even think about trying anything with them." Mark shut her down before she got any ideas.
"Well, we will see about that, later mark" dahye waved as the two had to part ways going into different classes.
Once entering the class, she found an empty seat in the back, opening up her sketchbook to work on a sketch she started a while ago.
"Can I sit here?" A voice whispered, making the girl look up upon hearing the soft voice.
"Uh sure?" dahye nodded, the phrase coming out almost like a question as she looked at the boy with two toned hair. His features were soft and his hair an interesting color, she couldn't help but stare at the boy as he sat down taking his things out.
