dahye and renjun made their way to their normal table, sitting across from sora, mark and donghyuck. renjun placing an arm on the seat behind dahye as he leaned back in his chair.

she didn't really think much of it until sora was looking between renjun and his arm and back at dahye waiting for an explanation. dahye shrugged in response not sure where the boys sudden action came from.

a few minutes later sora faked a cough seeing hyerin walk in their direction and mark mentally groaned but the two smiled at her anyway as she sat down on the other side of renjun.

dahye and renjun were still deep into a conversation when hyerin placed a finger under renjun's chin, turning him to face her. dahye huffed inaudibly at the interruption.

Noticing the shaking of dahye's leg, he slowly moved his arm and placed his hand on her thigh, glancing at her before looking back at hyerin.

"hyerin can i talk to you for a second?"

hearing jaehyun's voice all of a sudden, dahye frowned and looked over at mark who looked just as shocked that jaehyun didn't even look at her.

"are those two?.." donghyuck trailed off.

"there's no way" dahye and renjun responded in unison watching as the two walked off.

"hyerin's too- what's the word?" dahye pondered trying to think.

"clumsy? clingy?" sora continued to name things.

"all of them?" dahye nodded. "that's not jaehyun's type"

"maybe he's changed?" mark suggested only for everyone to give him a 'who you are kidding?' look. "alright alright fine" mark put his hands up in defense.

renjun sighed. "yeah but hyerin jumps at any kind of male attention and validation. she gets all giddy even when jaemin says a simple hi"

"j-jaemin?" sora stuttered a little earning a smile from dahye at her response.

"he usually ignores it" renjun added which lifted the weight off her shoulders as a sigh of relief escaped.

"what would jaehyun possibly want to talk to her about?" dahye sighed trying to think of any reason.

"maybe a project?" donghyuck shrugged. "just means more time i have with you" he winked at the girl.

"oh shut up." dahye laughed.

Once jaehyun and hyerin were away from the small little group, jaehyun spoke up. "It looks like we both need each other's help."

Hyerin looked at him confused for a moment. "What do you mean? I figured I would be the last person you even considered to go to for 'help'" she put air quotations with her fingers around the word 'help'

Jaehyun rolled his eyes already slightly annoyed. "You want renjun and I want dahye for myself." He leaned against the wall. "But they're always texting and so touchy and obviously flirting, it's annoying me."

Hyerin nodded agreeing with the boy as a sigh escaped her lips. "So, what do we do?"

She watched as a smirk grew on his lips. "Make them jealous."

"Would that even work?" she looked down, starting to question if renjun was even the slightest bit interested in her.

"Not sure about your boy, but no guy dahye has messed around with has ever just randomly stopped looking or talking to her. It will definitely be on her mind a lot. Are you in or not?"

Hyerin thought for a few moments. If dahye was thinking about jaehyun not speaking to her then that would mean she would try to get jaehyun's attention again and not renjun's right? whatever , its worth a shot.

"Im in."
