"Jason kissed you?" I told Stephanie everything that happened yesterday. "The things I miss because of tutoring," she said sadly.
"Hey, if you were there, Jason would've probably not kissed me. So be happy you were there." I was glad Steph wasn't there. Jason would've been nervous because of her.
"Hey guys. Did you have an amazing birthday yesterday Amethyst?" Jason asked.
"Yes. It was, thank you for asking. Steph push my face into the cake. I think I still have frosting in my nostrils," I said. Steph started to laugh.
"It was funny though!" Steph looked at Jason. "What did you give her? A kiss?" Jason blushed.
"That wasn't her present. I forgot to give it to her after I kissed her. Here Amethyst." I opened the box. It was a rose gold colored bracelet with 4 charms. They were all the color amethyst. One was the shape of a card, another was shaped as a small purse, another shaped as money, and the last one was shaped as a heart.
"Jason. This is so pretty. Especially since they are colored amethyst. My favorite color. I'm guessing they represent the things you gave me for each of my birthdays that you've been to. I still have the card you gave me when I was 14," I said. I gave him a hug.
"I was hoping you'd like it. It took forever to find the purse because I wanted to find one that looked like the one I have you," he said looking down. "I was wondering if you're free this Saturday? I want to take you roller skating," Jason said.
Steph looked at me in amazement. "I'm free Saturday. I'm a pro at skating," I said confidently.
"That's why I picked it. I'm going to get to class. Bye Steph. Bye Amethyst," Jason said walking away.
Steph nodded at me. I still can't believe that Jason liked me. I always thought he only saw me asks friend. I smiled at Steph. Then, we walked to class.
It was finally lunch time. I was starving. I was so glad today they were serving hot dogs. I usually hate the school's lunch. I don't know why though. It usually looks appetizing. I was all happy and stuff and then guess who comes to try to insult me. Allison.
"Hey Amethyst. Heard Mark kissed you yesterday. Did you pay him to do it? How much money did it take for you to make him kiss you? Let me guess. 500 bucks?" Allison's two best friends Jasmine and Yasmin laughed at her joke.
"How much did you pay Kyle to sleep with you? 5,000? Because no one would want to sleep with you," I said smiling.
"How dare you? Ugh. I'll just let it go. All I wanted to say is Jason only kissed you because he felt sorry for you," Allison said with a frown on her face.
"That's not true and you know it Allison. Just stop it. No one wants to listen to you anyway," Jason said to Allison.
"I'll just leave for now. But Jason won't always be here to defend you Amethyst. Wait until he isn't around. I'll be here waiting." Allison left with her minions.
"Thanks for sticking up for me Jason," I said sighing. Why won't she just leave me alone? She's been picking on me for the last 7 years.
"Anything for you Amethyst. I'll always be here to defend you," Jason said making me feel happy.
The rest of the school day went by and it was time to go home. Steph had tutoring again so I was alone with Jason again. We walked together to my car talking about our math homework. It was pretty simple. Then, me and Jason got to my car and he looked at me.
"Do you mind if I kiss you again?" Jason said. Wow. His light brown eyes were so dreamy. I never noticed that. His hair looked soft. I wanted to run my fingers through it. "Amethyst?" I forgot to answer him. I must look like a complete fool!
"Sorry. I was....um.....I was....just kiss me already," after I said that, he came in close and he kissed me. Wow. I might've fallen to the floor if he wasn't there holding me.
"Bye Amethyst," Jason said waving goodbye.
"Bye." I got into my car and drove away from the empty parking lot where I kissed Jason again.
After I opened the door, I had forgotten that no one was home that day. Mom and dad were at Aiden's soccer game. Aiden was one of the nicest people I've ever met. He always though about other people before himself. On his birthday last year, he asked everyone to bring in clothes they didn't want. He sent them to the town of Chi in the country of Farl. Aiden's only 14. I expected him to be more of a rebel by now, but he's still thoughtful. I went upstairs and took and nice long shower.
How could Jason like me? His cousin that he has been close to since he was in diapers hated me. How could I have never noticed that he liked me? Well, he has always sides with me and not Steph. He always payed for my food when Steph, him, and me went to dinner. He always helps me with my homework. He always remembers the dates that are important to me. He can remember all my likes and dislikes. He always orders for me at restaurants and orders me exactly what I want. He remembers everything I tell him. Wow. I never really thought about it. It's obvious he likes me if you think about it. He's always quiet when I talk to him about boys.
It was about 12 when I was going back to my room from the kitchen when I heard my mom and dad talking.
"Mario, we were supposed to have another kid. Not 3 other kids!" mom said.
"Well, I can't control how many babies are made in your body!" exclaimed dad.
"How are we going to tell the kids? I mean, one baby is fine for them I'm guessing, but 3? We're going to have 3 babies to take care of," mom said worriedly.
I decided just to go to bed and not ask them anything about the triplets. Wow. 3 babies at once. This is going to be crazy.
