"Mom. I overheard you guys yesterday. You're having three kids?" I was scared. Three babies? There would be crying all the time.

"Yes Amethyst. But I was going to tell you when Aiden was here. Could you call him over here please," mom said quietly.

I nodded and went upstairs to Aiden's room. I knocked and there was no answer. I slowly opened the door and saw him on his computer looking at a picture of a girl. I recognized her. She was the sister of this new guy in school. I think her name was Juliet Sanders. Her brother, Julian Sanders came into school a couple of days ago. She was a really pretty girl. She was 14 just like Aiden.

"Aiden. Why are you staring at Juliet Sanders?"

Aiden turned around quickly and look terrified. "Juliet Sanders? Who's that? This girl? I was totally not stalking her on Spacebook. I don't like her or anything. Why? Did she say something about me?"

Gee. Aiden must really like her. "Well, I heard that she had a crush on you. She waiting for you to ask her out." I was obviously lying so he would ask her out.

"Then the rumors are true! She does like me. I guess no one can resist the A man," Aiden said as he brushed off his shoulder.

"Child. Who even calls you the A man," I said laughing.

Aiden just smiled and turned back to his computer. "What do you even want Ammy," Aiden quietly said. His nickname for me was Ammy since that was the only thing he could say that was close to Amethyst when he was a toddler.

I just gave him the "mom needs you". Yes. We have looks for certain things.

He got up and went downstairs and greeted mom.

"Aiden. I'm going to have triplets. And you have five days before they come. So tomorrow I'm going to go out with the girls and Amethyst will be in charge," mom said quickly before leaving the room.

Aiden just stood in awe. He looked at me with his "is this really happening" face. I nodded and went up to my room. Today was my date with Jason. It was 12 and he was picking me up at 7. So much time. So I decided to take a bath. I didn't want to sit in my own dirt so first I took a quick shower. Then I sat in warm rose water. I soaked in the water for about 2 hours listening to music. Then I got up and put on my towel.

What should I do to my hair? Curl it? That was risky because I didn't want to damage my hair. It's pretty fragile. So no. How about if I leave it down. No. It's too flat and boring. What if I braid it. No. Too boring. Why is this so hard to decide. I mean, when I usually hang out with Jason I just out it half up half down. I guess I'll just do that.

So I put my hair half up and half down. I look decent. Just a little mascara. Now. I need to choose my outfit. It's spring. How about a dress. No. He said casual. Ill just wear a tank top a cardigan and some shorts. Oooooo. I look nice. How long did I take to choose my outfit. Oh my goodness. It was already 6:45. I took 4 hours to choose the simplest hair style and outfit. I wonder where he's taking me. All this thinking is making me tired. Maybe if I take a fifteen minute nap. I guess I might as well.

1 hour later.

I hear a loud knocking on my door. What time is it? I looked at the clock. Seven forty five? Oh shoot. Im so late for my date. The knocking continued.

"Amethyst. A boy named Jason is here to pick you up. He got here nearly an hour ago!" Shouted Aiden.

I struggled to get up. Why? Cause I was under the covers. So smart. I pushed the covers off and walked to the door. Here goes nothing.

"Hello child. I'll be down in a minute," he would usually go away but he stared at me like I was a monster. "What is wrong." He pointed to my hair. I ran to the mirror. He started to laugh.

"I'm kidding. You look fine," he laughed.

I grunted and put in my converse. I ran downstairs and saw Jason. He looked bored out of his mind. My dad was telling Jason about the time he got stuck in a ditch. It's his most boring story ever.

"Hey hon. I guess you're ready to go on your date. Your all grown up," my dad started to cry.

How emotional can dad be. I just grabbed Jason by his hand and led him to his car. He opened the door for me and we left to dinner. At least I thought we were.
