The Fight

"It's finally your first day of 4th grade!" said mom. Mom's name is Martha and dad's name is Mario. Have to remember. "Amethyst. Hurry so you can come down stairs and eat your breakfast." I ran down the stairs. "Hi sweety." said dad. I went up to him and kissed him on the cheek. I sat down and started to eat my breakfast of bacon and eggs. "It says on the newspaper that they've found another albino with a MUR. Very rare." I didn't know what a MUR was. But then again, I am only 10 years old. Mom came up to me with my rock necklace. "Never take this off. It's very special." Everyone gets their rock on their first day of the 4th grade. Mine was weirdly shaped and had purple crystals inside. "Mom, what is the color inside my rock?" I asked. "Amethyst. I named you after your favorite color." The amethyst crystals inside were beautiful. " We have to go honey. You'll be late for school." I rushed out the door to the car. The ride was only 5 minutes. My mom took me out of the car and took me to class. There were so many kids in there. A lady greeted us. She was not that tall, but not that short and thin. Her hair was a very light brown. "Hi. My name is Ms.Prop. Please have a seat at table 3." She seemed so nice. I waved goodbye to my mom. More and more kids showed up. A girl named Allison came in. "I'm the best and I have the best rock ever!" I went up to her with everyone else to see her rock. It was half of a heart and had rose colored crystals inside. It was so beautiful. I went to sit down and she sat next to me. "Your rock's crystals are pretty. I'm Allison. What's your name?" I smiled at Allison. "My name is Amethyst. And thank you. Your crystals are pretty too." Ms.Prop came in and everyone sat down. " The first lesson of the year is about our rocks. Everyone has a shape. You either have a triangle, circle, square, or the rarest, a heart. And then, your favorite color is the color of the crystals. Your rock matches with someone on the planet of Gerekina. They are the person you will marry. You will find them someday." I looked at my rock. It didn't look like half a triangle or circle or square. Not even a heart. It looked more like a messed up stop sign. I raised my hand. "Yes Amethyst?" Everyone turned their head to me. "Um. My rock doesn't match any of those shapes." Ms.Prop's face became white. "Came I take a look?" I nodded and she came to me. She picked up my rock and stared in horror. "Amethyst. I'm afraid you have a MUR. MUR means messed up rock. That means you'll never find you soulmate. I'm so sorry." I started to get angry. Then I looked at Allison's rock. It was so beautiful. Maybe if I took it and wore it, her soulmate would be mine. I wouldn't die alone. I wanted to be happy like mommy and daddy. I stared at Allison. "What? Do I have a booger?" she said. I grabbed her rock. "Get off of me! You're hurting me!" I couldn't resist. "Fine! I'll fight you!" She punched me in the face. I grabbed her hair and pulled on her necklace as hard as I could. "Give me your necklace!" I yelled. Ms.Prop came running and tried to push us apart. But she couldn't. "Billy! Get Mr.Ketty!" Billy ran out of the classroom. I was surprised he knew where he was. My face hurt so much. I saw black around her green eyes. Brown hair tangled in her necklace. The Mr.Ketty came in. "Help me George!" He pulled me off. He looked at me in disgust. I wiped my face because I felt sweat, but I looked at my hand and it was blood. I started to cry. They took me to the office and Allison to the nurse. Ms.Prop wiped my face with a wet cloth. "Why did you do this?" she asked. I felt tears in my eyes. "I don't want a messed up rock. I want a normal rock. A pretty normal rock." My mom came into the office. "My baby!" I would like an explanation Ms.Prop." They stepped out of the room. I looked at my white hair and saw red on it. I felt bad for hurting Allison. I went to the nurse to apologize. "Allison....." I began. Her face was messed up. "I WILL NEVER FORGIVE YOU AMETHYST!!!!!EVER!!!" My mom took my home and I cried all night.
