Rengoku POV

"So much walking!" I complain "Dear demon do you ever stay still for more than an hour?" I whine

"No. To stop is to give the enemy more openings to attack"

"Your resolve is admirable demon! But I am no old demon like you" I say in response

"What does me being old have to do with us walking?"

"N-nothing! I am sorry if it that came out wrong!"

"No it's fine I know what your trying to say"

We walk in an awkward silence until suddenly the demon stops in his tracks and puts his arm in front of me

"Someone's following us" The demon whispers

"W-what? Muzan found us?"

"What-? No the demon slayer who sliced my neck is following us" The demon closes his eyes and sniffs the air

"He's getting closer, and he's not alone. I can smell two others"

"What do we do?"

"Well your a high ranking demon slayer right?" The demon looks up at me

Does he want me to confront the slayers? But I can't!

"Y-yes I am. But I'm a demon now! What am I to do if they see me as a demon I betrayed the Corp!"

The demon looks down than sighs. "Than you are to run" The demon points in the direction where he wants me to run. "Run and don't stop running"

"What about you?"

"Just run idiot"

I begin to run in the direction where the demon pointed but I can't bring myself to leave him. I stop and hide in a tree looking at the demon standing still, waiting for the slayers to come.

"Demon!" I hear a voice yell

That voice... Tanjiro?

"You sit and wait for your demise BUT I WANT TO HAVE ONE LAST FIGHT!" I hear a boy yell aggressively

Inosuke?

"C-can we just hurry up and kill it?"

That's definitely Zenistu

"How long have you been chasing me demon slayers?"

"Like for a day" Tanjiro answers immediately

"Well that was straightforward" The demon stands up and stretches his muscles

"I never realized how buffed that demon kinda was" I whisper under my breath

"Well come at me demon slayers I look forward for what you have in store for me" The demon strips down to his boxers and flashes a smug smirk

Why did he strip down!? I blush at the demons build his frame is small but his muscles are lean. He's not overly buff and not overly scrawny.

When I flash my smug smile a boy in a boar mask immediately lunges at me "Beast breathing first fang, Pierce!" His two swords are aimed at my neck.

I duck and the two blades miss my head. "You're quick young one!" I exclaim

These demon slayers they're so much better than demon slayers in my time!

I feel the adrenaline start to pump in my veins "Demon slayers you are extraordinary I will be sure to give you a glorious battle!"
